« Overall a pleasant stay. Room (suite with tub) was spacious and comfortable, and had most utilities you need for a short stay. Could’ve used blinds behind the curtains, as room was facing a road/parking lot (we had our curtains closed all the time, which made the room very dark). Food from the restaurant/roomservice was pretty overpriced. But would overall recommend. »

« Overall a great stay however breakfast service could be improved. The staff were friendly and helpful however thought approach of the chef strange. Can we have an omelette - no we don’t do them. Can we just have sliced avocado rather than the mashed - no. I don’t think either of these would really have been too much trouble for a chef but clearly not interested in pleasing the customer . »

« If you are thinking about staying at The Hunting Tower to enjoy the area, view and to visit Chatsworth House with unlimited access then this is for you. We absolutely loved our stay, such a unique building and well taken care of, considering it's age, it was all extremely comfortable. It was easy to collect the key as instructed but on arriving at Chatsworth the lady in the kiosk was not aware of what we should do next or to be able to navigate us to the property which was a little odd, so...

« Had a call day before to ask what time we was checking in and give us useful information about the area and what to do. Lady at check in was super nice gave us more tips on the area. Room was warm and clean when arrived. Had kettle and microwave and a mini fridge, no cutlery or plates but that was fine with us. If walking down to the town, it is a very steep hill and takes 15 minutes for the unfit lol. Overall good stay and would stay again. »
