« We loved the gorgeous views inside and out. The custom log beams and wood interior feel both comforting and luxurious. The home is well provisioned with cooking equipment and gear. Plenty of games for all ages. We had many people filling the beds. There are only two bedrooms but lots of sleeping options that the kids enjoyed- hello triple level bunk style! Perfect for cousins. No room darkening blinds on windows so bring your eye masks. This is one of the best stays we’ve ever had. »

« We had a wonderful time, a bit hard to find the place as we unfortunately arrived after sundown and there are no lights around. Also no physical maps on the property. Once we located the unit the stay was wonderful! The pictures were very accurate to the location. Very peaceful and so close to many amazing trails! We would gladly stay again! »

« Three of us stayed at this recently remodeled cabin in Gasquet. What a wonderful stay we had! We had access to charcoal grill that we used both nights, a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed to prepare meals, nice toiletries, plenty of outdoor patio furniture, and a lovely, private setting (even though next to a highway). « Back to nature with all the comforts of home. Stunning property delightful home. I would move here in a heart beat and be happy for the rest of my life. Perfect retreat. I am 75, i wanted to spend some time in the deep forest but have some limiting mobility factors. This property had the right mix of tall trees, water, and shektered places to sit and enjoy nature with only a short walk. Beautiful home, many large windows so even when I was inside i could enjoy the outside . Absolutly heaven on...

« Great location !!! A few negatives, first when we arrived there was not any toilet paper in the unit. Second there was trash outside the property and lastly the deck and deck furniture needs to be either repaired or updated. Inside was sufficiently clean. The view is spectacular and the hot tub was great. »

« The cabin was cozy, we loved the tv room with the fireplace heater. The bathroom was quite small and there was nothing private about the hot tub. We could see in the windows of neighbors which meant they can see us as well. We will stay at the resort again just not that cabin. »

« Our small family just had an amazing stay here. The gorgeous crystal clear Smith River is visible/walkable from the back porch, and this is a *perfect* home base location to see the Redwoods in the prime JS area. Joe the host was super friendly and let us use his canoe on the beautiful river, we had a little campfire out back and he has an active orchard/garden going on. Joe pressed some apples and gave us a jug of apple juice that was unforgettable! They also had a Golden Retriever dog Nellie...
