DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.
I did not stay. I spent 3 hours looking for a new hotel. This is not a hotel but an extended-stay residence.
Cleanliness: The place was extremely dirty. The ceiling was peeling, and pieces were on the ground. I had an industrial fan on the floor. The mattress was cut so that I could see all of the springs and padding. The wood on the headboard was peeling, and a big chunk of wood was missing. People were actively smoking tobacco in the building. Walking down the hallway, I noticed that the tile floor was wet and cracked everywhere. To get past you have to dodge buckets and cones.
Safety: Upon entry, a sign says, "No guns allowed." Every door in the hotel was propped open, which was concerning, as many people were out in the parking lot lying on the concrete and did not look like they were staying there. It looked like many people were homeless or struggling with addiction. Upon walking in and out, I was given many looks and even heckled by one group in a parked car.
The only positive comment I can make is that the woman who checked me in was very nice.
I have emailed the property for a refund and am still waiting to hear from someone.
I am usually pretty laid-back and do not get too uptight, as long as I have a bed to sleep on, but this place was over the top.
