« Very spacious for 6-7 ladies. Some limitations due to steps. 3 bedrooms first level but 2 bedrooms up very narrow farmhouse stairway and not good if physical issues. »

« This property exceeded any expectation I had. The view really is picture perfect. The deck is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. The inside is equally impressive - beautiful decor, big kitchen with all you need, huge TV! We can’t wait to go back. »

« Overall very pleased. Seemed like a lot of money for the property but I guess that’s what waterfront cost. House was very clean and well equipped. Loved the mini-splits in each room. The only reason I gave “cleanliness” four stars is because the outside trash can had a bunch of trash the smelled horrible and the recycling container also had trash in it. Michelle was great and very responsive. There’s a great market on the island but very few dining options and no fine dining. Very cozy...

« I was in charge of booking my very first family vacation and I really wanted to be near water and trees. This location was perfect as the kids loved being on the beach (and utilizing the Kayaks, Life Jackets, and Floaties provided by the host) and the adults loved the serenity of the area. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had which definitely set the tone for me before even arriving! »

« We had a wonderful time. My husband spent the days crabbing from the pier, my brother fishing from the pier. We all went out kayaking. Beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed a crazy night of ping pong, playing cards and online Jackbox games. Plenty of space and loved the large kitchen and bathroom for every bedroom. None of us wanted to leave. »

« Everything. I mean everything was perfect. We saw swans, ducks, and even sn alligator gar for you fishing lovers. The River was beautiful. The host very responsive. The house very-well appointed. Nothing missing. They even had art supplies for our rainy day. Highly recommend this water-front house. »

« This was a quaint little escape after concluding business in Richmond. One block from the beach and access to all restaurants on the boardwalk. The room had great amenities and rustic charm. It was particularly nice to have a continental breakfast to walk downstairs to in the morning. On the occasion that I did have to communicate with the owner regarding an issue, they were efficient and engaged with an immediate solution. Can't recommend enough! »

« The Blue Heron Cottage was an excellent stay for my family. While small, the property was big enough for us and two kids. The cottage itself inside was pretty new all around. The only thing that needs updating would be the shower. Full kitchen with oven and fridge was nice. Beds comfy. Property good for kids and a dog if you have one. The best part was the location. A block from the bay and three from the river. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us! »
