« We loved staying at Millfield Cottage, the house is well equipped and spacious. The location is fabulous, we were there in October, so the weather was stormy, being warm and cosy in the house while watching the waves break on the rocks and hearing the wind on the sea was just great. Lee bay is a fantastic rocky bay with caves and many hidden beaches, worth exploring. The garden is also lovely. The narrow Devon lanes can be a bit daunting but taken carefully you soon learn how to navigate them....

« We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

« Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from. »

« Beautiful location in Appledore. View over the estuary to the Atlantic ever changing and soothing as the tides ebbed and flowed. Second time to this magical little town..and will be coming again for sure. Property on seaward side of Irsha Street and like all the others that side of the street it gave straight onto the estuary with dramatic views every day, and wonderful sunsets. »
