« The property was as advertised. Located in a very quiet neighborhood with a small backyard. Parking was available on street and there was a space available in the back. We were informed of an issue with the garbage disposal before we arrived which did not detract from our ability to enjoy the space. « The house is beautiful and very clean. Everything you could think of is included. Tons of extra towels, pillows, blankets plus games and puzzles. « My family and I spent another vacation week at the Peace of Paradise Lake House hosted by Anne. Trying to find time as a family for 3 grown boys with busy careers and one married is impossible except when it comes to the Lake House. I gave them the dates and they made the time to show up. We checked on Friday and by 4:30PM the boat was at the dock and tee times were made for two rounds of golf. « We travelled to Va to visit Monticello, wineries and breweries for my husband's 60th birthday with 3 other couples. The house was about 20minutes from Monticello and Jefferson winery so it was a perfect location for us. We absolutely loved the farm and the house. We got to see the baby goats which were so cute! « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake. SML is truly my happy place. The house had a great view of the main channel and Bridgewater Marina. Oh, and the sunsets! Wow. We always love sharing the lake with our dogs who love to swim! Would rent again if there was a floating dock. The slope is steep and riprap challenging for the dogs to get in and out of the water. « We greatly enjoyed our time in this charming historic home. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. The decor is lovely and the house is very clean. There are two beds, one with a firm mattress and the other is soft. (The upstairs master bathroom does get a little chilly in the morning.) Cozy study nook upstairs was perfect for work or school. We loved the variety of dining options that were so close by. The owners were very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend! »
