« We were charmed upon the first minutes we were there. Jeff was really welcoming and showed us to our room immediately. The room we chose was lovely. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed (especially towels!). The bed was rather long and we were very, very happy with that, knowing we are both fairly tall people. « Owners were so nice, bed was great, linens and towels were wonderful. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! « This hotel is absolutely amazing! I’d recommend it a thousand times over. Not only is it gorgeous, but it’s also super clean and cozy—a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff? Simply incredible! The receptionist was so kind. We had a little issue with our car because of a snowstorm during our stay, and she went out of her way to help us find a mechanic.
