„Nice and quiet hotel 2,5 Miles away from the next town. Wild strolling animals in the new forest area are something special. The hotel was fine, rooms were clean -bath could be cleaner- and every day freshly made up. The bar/restaurant in the hotel had small good meals. We preserved several different locations to eat to change the taste. “

„Lovely stay. Nice ambiance. Busy due to Easter weekend with lots of lovely dogs however service was brilliant with very friendly staff. Food delicious. Room was adequate but not a great view - a wall so that was a shame - I wonder how rooms are allocated? Bathroom was fine but very small. Thank you for a lovely stay. “

„The photo is taken from the back garden so the front looks nothing like expected. The location is lovely but the house itself needs modernisation. It was relatively clean but smelt a bit musty. Not the worst place I have stayed but it was like staying with your nan in the 1970's. The host was pleasant but a little eccentric. “

„I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!“

„We loved this place, after a lot of stress we wanted to find somewhere special to take our minds off of it all and here was a fantastic find! The spa, staff, food, location absolutely brilliant! „Quaint cottage and staff were polite. The room we stayed in was nice and bright. There was a very bad damp problem in the en suite especially above the shower, not just on the ceiling but the shower sealant was all black and the bottom of the shower door had not even been cleaned of all the mould. The shower was very powerful and water hot. Skirting of the bedroom was missing exposing the gap between floor and ceiling. Although there was radiator heating the thermostat was loose and difficult ...
