« The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

« Delightful setting - with country and canalside walks from the doorstep. Welcoming host family live next door and there's plenty of private parking on the shared driveway. Comfortable large bed, bright and clean bedroom upstairs with bathroom next to kitchen area downstairs. Lovely to step straight out of front door at dusk to comfy seats overlooking their beautiful garden at sunset. »

« Good locations. Check-in and access and communication was all great. Recliner chairs in the lounge were nice (worth noting there’s only four of them so any additional people would have to sit on dining chairs). Our five year old loved the bunk beds! Having the enclosed garden was helpful with two young kids. The place needs a really good clean though. Found hairs and crumbs all over the place, and needed to wash some of the cutlery before using it. The main bed sags a bit in the middle bed,...
