« Living accommodations were excellent for our three family units. There was more than ample supply of kitchen items, towels, games, refrigerators, etc. The pontoon was a great asset. We especially appreciated the opportunity to check-in early, We were VERY impressed with the owners' rapid response to our questions and our requests for information and assistance. Looking forward to being able to return next year and beyond. »

« we had a group of 9 ladies staying overnight. Clean home with plenty of space. Comfortable beds, even the blow up mattress was comfortable. Before we arrived I had reached out to the host several times and always received a prompt courteous reply. thanks for a great stay. »

« The best!! What a great job in preserving this amazing building and the vision to make it a warm and welcoming place for any age group to stay. This was a wonderful place for our group of Brothers & Sister's and spouses to relax, play games and tell stories. They have it all from Kitchen to play equipment. We will be coming back!!!!! « Roomy cabin, super clean and quiet. Loved the 8 track player with tapes, it brought back fond memories. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. Canoes kayaks and life vests available to use. Sadly it rained so we will have to come back to give those a try. »

« We so enjoyed our stay at Sugar Sand Retreat! The location is ideal and the house was perfect for our group of 10 plus an occasional extra relative. There was plenty of space for our grandchildren ages 13 - 22 to spread out. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed Lake Ida very much! »
