« The hotel is very conveniently located within easy walking distance of the station. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the portions very large. The room was comfortable and the furnishing simple. The bed was quite soft for our taste. »

« Hôtel tres bien situé à 2 pas de l'abbaye mais des choses a revoir. Les fenêtres tres anciennes et l'ancienneté du bâtiment dont que l'isolation y est a parfaire... beaucoup même... très lourd dans la chambre malgré le fait qu'il ne faisait pas plus de 22° dehors. On ne peux pas ouvrir beaucoup les fenêtres. Le ventilateur est bruyant. On enrends aussi pas mal les bruits dans le couloir et les chanbres proches Le bar du bas est aussi très animé le soir il faut en tenir compte »

« This was a 10/10 for us. Just wonderful in all ways. It was romantic, scenically amazing with such a pretty sea view room and balcony, the room was beautiful, clean, fresh and white and bright and it was such a comfy bed and with so many high quality and thoughtful touches in the room like many lovely teas and drinks and quality biscuits, the food in the restaurant was delicious and even the staff were very friendly as well and helpful too. « I was very disappointed with accom; no early breakfast no reception no early arrival before 5pm very strong odour in v small bedroom no early morning call service to call it 4 star is an exaggeration it was a pub that did basic rooms full stop no more no less »

« Dans un ancien manoir cet hôtel propose des prestations de qualité avec un service avenant, une restauration de qualité le soir et le matin ainsi que des chambres cosy dans une atmosphère delicieusement Anglaise. La note maximale de 10 échappe simplement par des chambres un peu petite et l'absence d'acces direct à la mer. »

« This is both an amazing location and an amazing hotel. Rob, the host, was a perfect one. He welcomed us, told us god places to eat etc and explained how the car park worked. The room was amazing. Clean, tidy and with the most amazing sea view. Coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels were pristine and the building was in superb condition. « The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms.
