„My daughter and I stayed at this adorable cottage for my sister’s birthday party in Sylacauga. The owners were easy to reach and eager to accommodate. The property was clean, easy to find, and on a very peaceful part of Lay Lake. We enjoyed our visit and recommend this rental property. “

„Would have been great to have a boat slip near by. If you stay at this property, just know you can get a slip rent at Wind Creek Park from just over $15 a night. This house was the perfect little lake house with a fenced in yard for our golden doodle. The VRBO fees made this over $500 for one night. It made the value of the stay seem way too expensive for the size and location.“

„The inside is very clean and nice, great floor Plan. The rest is what it is. Location could be best described as remote. Wi-Fi is good. BTW, very narrow dirt road to get to property. Could use a few signs parking and house rules. When we arrived, the grass needed cutting badly, was cut the next morning after I texted the manager. Would not recommend for children. “

„The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the first room we were in smelled so musty that we had to ask for another room. They request was handled very quickly and without question. The second room smelled pleasing but it was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom floor was visibly dirty. I could tell things had been wiped because I could see the smeared film on everything. I did not feel good about the room because of the cleanliness. “

The house was clean and well laid out, so we had no problems finding quiet areas to rest or catch up on homework.
