„This is a tiny community in the heart of Maine woods. Expect deer, turkeys, eagles and other wildlife, but do not expect cellphone service or drive throughs! The hosts were lovely, had a generator ready to roll when the weather took out power, and provided with a delightful surprise dinner when we found ourselves staying in more than going out. They were really lovely people and the place, while cozy, has an outstanding screen room and outdoors cooking space.“

„Andy’s Place was wonderful! The beauty of the lake with the mountains beyond was a wonderful sight to drink coffee and admire in the morning. Our trip started here after a long drive from Michigan, and it was absolutely wonderful. The beds were comfortable, and our host was very thoughtful with the necessities that were at the property. 10/10 for sure!“

„We loved our vacation at Camp Baumann. The house was spacious and roomy yet cozy at the same time. So fun and unique and comfy spots for the whole family inside and outside on the multiple decks and docks. Loved the kayak and paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit - you name it. Steve was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my many questions and requests for recommendations. All 11 of us had a great time. “

„The place was dirty. Went to the basement to check out the laundry room and found standing water because the sub pump was broken, 3 full piles of bedding in and on the washer and dryer. This led me to believe the sheets on the bed had not been washed. The stove top was dirty, dishes in the dishwasher, dirt in between the cushions of the couch. „This is an incredible property with fun for the whole family. More than enough room throughout with all the amenities one could ask for. Screened in porch with a lakeside view is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing times outside free from bugs. The kayaks and paddle boards allow for comfortable exploring of the majestic Whitstone lake. Make dinner in the beautiful open kitchen or grill on the barbecue downstairs. „We have been loving this camp and the pond for over 25 years. Sharing it with our children as young teens and now as adults, and grandchildren ! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this lakefront destination. Spacious, comfortable, welcoming, close to any forgotten or needed supplies, a few steps to the cleanest pond, able to have the boat we rented at the dock, wonderful neighbors...
