« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). « The rooms where of a high quality, the sevice of the staff was above expected 5 star, the food was absolutely gorgeous could not fault the hotel or spa one bit. »

« Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again . »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Just back from a lovely overnight stay at Jericho’s. The location of the accommodation was fabulous and so central to the village and a leisurely walk to Bowness on Windermere. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and we were called by phone on the day of arrival to say our room was ready which was such a lovely touch. The accommodation was spotless, so clean and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely room with everything we needed for our stay including a small fridge, coffee maker,...
