« Very warm welcome and lots of recommendations on places to eat and visit. We had the family suite which was very spacious and good balcony space with Braai area. Overlooking the par 3 golf course. Please note there are dogs at this property, well behaved but if you are not confident with them it might be an issue. Plenty of places to eat a short drive away in town. Thank you. »

« We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein. »

« Tolle Lage, sehr sauber, schönes Frühstück, großes Zimmer. Etwas unpersönlich, Wäsche ziemlich teuer, ab 1730 Uhr werden die Polster aus dem Garten genommen und die Couch abgedeckt, dadurch sitzt man nicht mehr so bequem. »

« If one wants a place like few others, then The Merry Widow is for you. When I arrived at Reception, I thought I had got the wrong place, but I met Ulrich Onaggi the owner who is charming and he directed me to the right place to park, and then we walked across the lawn to the room, which was huge, and could have been a former barn. It has rough stone walls and a very high ceiling. Equipped quirkily, but exceedingly cold. One needs an electric blanket and a heater in the room in order to...
