„We were here with friends to see the eclipse. Beautiful natural setting to see this beautiful natural occurrence. The balcony view overlooking the Ouachita River is as good or better than the pictures. Lovely and spacious interior. Room to park two vehicles in the garage. The pool table downstairs is a bit worn and in a tight space, but still usable. This was a great place to stay away from it all out in the hills of western Arkansas.“

„Lovely place to get away and relax!! Quiet area with a pool that we so enjoyed!! Nice lake to fish and/or use the paddle boat. One evening the perch were really biting and the kiddos had a great time catching them and tossing them back in the lake. Lots of room outside to play a game of kick ball. A long paved driveway for the kids to ride their bikes. The house was great for all of our cooking and family meals and we enjoyed dominos on the large table after the kids went to bed. „The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. „This a classic stone home that has been well maintained and updated whilst honoring its heritage. It was conveniently located a minute from downtown and the perfect location as a home base to hop around Mena. The host was easy to get in contact with as well and had a small assortment of snacks in the kitchen (I love those little touches of care!).
