„Loud construction work on the bungalow next to ours for two days of our three day stay. Drilling, metal grinding, hammering, etc. Oven door in our kitchen was broken, so we couldn't use that either. Asked for a different bungalow but didn't get one. Pool was semi-clean. Hotel.com customer service was also unwilling to help. Will use a different platform for the next booking. “

„Claire and Bud (the owners) couldnt have done more for us. They were staying further up the road and I was able to use their pool which was a treat. The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and although it was rainy season it was still wonderful - we could sit on the decking and watch the forest / sea and listen to the rain. The sea view is amazing and we saw some monkeys and other wildlife in the trees around us. Just one thing to consider, if you are coming in rainy ...

„Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!“

„Quaint cabin (make sure you have the correct GPS coordinates, because there are two by the same name – we were made aware of the correct location AFTER we booked). Extremely remote! Challenges with check-in/meeting the care taker. Be advised, this cabin is located 10 minutes off a main road, up a very steep, bumpy, rocky, dusty incline – a 4x4 is absolutely required and I would not advise attempting this in the rain! „The home was just as described. Steve is a great guy and very knowledgable and helpful. His trees and gardens are beautiful and edible fruits are a bonus. There is a store and bus stop just steps away. Very convenient. Stayed 3 weeks,lived like ticas and we hope to see our friend again next trip.“

„We loved our stay with Casey and Tamara, especially the outdoor kitchen and living spaces. It was very peaceful, located amongst banana and coffee plants. The location is great, although 4 wheel drive is recommended. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely accommodation, with great hosts.“
