„Loud construction work on the bungalow next to ours for two days of our three day stay. Drilling, metal grinding, hammering, etc. Oven door in our kitchen was broken, so we couldn't use that either. Asked for a different bungalow but didn't get one. Pool was semi-clean. Hotel.com customer service was also unwilling to help. Will use a different platform for the next booking. “

„the cottage/lodge was great. But on our day of arrival we already noticed that there hardly came out any water out of the tab. I took a shower in the evening - thank God - as the following morning there was none water at all. To pay 134 US $ a night for not having water is kind of a lot“

„Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!“

„Quaint cabin (make sure you have the correct GPS coordinates, because there are two by the same name – we were made aware of the correct location AFTER we booked). Extremely remote! Challenges with check-in/meeting the care taker. Be advised, this cabin is located 10 minutes off a main road, up a very steep, bumpy, rocky, dusty incline – a 4x4 is absolutely required and I would not advise attempting this in the rain! „The home was just as described. Steve is a great guy and very knowledgable and helpful. His trees and gardens are beautiful and edible fruits are a bonus. There is a store and bus stop just steps away. Very convenient. Stayed 3 weeks,lived like ticas and we hope to see our friend again next trip.“

„Our stay at Vista Paraiso Lodge for New Year's was amazing. The view is super fantastic especially the sunet and the whole place is beautiful since sunrise, many birds singing. „We loved our stay with Casey and Tamara, especially the outdoor kitchen and living spaces. It was very peaceful, located amongst banana and coffee plants. The location is great, although 4 wheel drive is recommended. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely accommodation, with great hosts.“

„Very nice house. Clean, well equipped and a wonderful view! Only the way to get there should be considered. It is not very difficult, but it takes some time to get up or downhill to go shopping or out for dinner. But it is definetely worth it! But it is definetely wortth it!“
