Das Hummingbird Retreat ist der ideale Zufluchtsort für Familien und Freunde, Outdoor-Enthusiasten oder einfach ein praktisches Basislager für lokale und benachbarte Touristenattraktionen. Im Zentrum des 2.800 Hektar großen Point Beach State Forest erwarten Sie kilometerlange Rad- und Wanderwege. Dieses erschwingliche Heiligtum mit drei Schlafzimmern ist zum Ausruhen und Entspannen gedacht und ein wunderbarer Ort, um mit der Natur in Kontakt zu treten.

Das Hummingbird Retreat ist 1.200 m² groß und verfügt über eine geräumige, moderne Küche, ein großes Vollbad mit Wäsche und ein komfortables, intimes Wohnzimmer. Die große Master-Suite verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und einen gemütlichen Kamin, während die beiden Gästezimmer über große Betten verfügen. Ein Twin Roll Away ist ebenfalls erhältlich.

Egal, ob Sie Brat oder frisch gefangenen Weißfisch vom Susie Q-Fischmarkt in Two Rivers genießen, unsere private Terrasse eignet sich perfekt zum Grillen und für Unterhaltungszwecke. Das abgeschirmte Lanai ist ein großartiger Treffpunkt zum Essen, Spielen oder um ein Nickerchen zu machen.

Nur 45 Minuten vom Lambeau Field in Green Bay, dem Golfplatz Whistling Straits in Kohler oder dem unterhaltsamen Door County entfernt, ist das Hummingbird Retreat ein idealer Startpunkt für Packer Games über Nacht oder ein Tagesausflug zu einigen der besten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und vielem mehr in Door County Weingüter.

Die nahe gelegene Küste des Point Beach State Forest bietet einen der letzten unbewohnten Sandstrände des Michigansees und das Hummingbird Retreat. Der historische Rawleys Point Lighthouse des Sees ist nur 1,6 km entfernt. Wenn Sie ein Wanderer oder Radfahrer sind, beginnt der Rawleys Point-Radweg fast vor unserer Haustür und schließt an den Mariners Trail an, der sich über 22 Kilometer von wunderschönen Wäldern und unberührter Landschaft des Michigansees öffnet.

Ausstattung gehören zentrale Luft; Bettzeug und Bettwäsche; Waschmaschine und Trockner; Holzkamin in der Master-Suite; und viele Parkplätze für Fahrzeuge / Wohnmobile / Boote / Anhänger. (Nur Strandtücher und Stranddecken mitbringen.)

Für Unterhaltung zu Hause sorgen WLAN, Kabel-TV, DVD-Player und eine Stereoanlage. Die offene und luftige Küche bietet Kochgeschirr, Geschirr und alle modernen Geräte.

Fantastic Getaway Near Door County
This rental was a wonderful place for a retreat with family. We enjoyed everything including the interior and the beautiful backyard, not to mention a screened separate building that allowed us to enjoy eating, playing games, and even doing crafts with our grandchildren. Kevin, the owner, is a very gracious host. He took care of our needs and he provided an oasis type of backyard for relaxation. The home and yard are exactly as seen in the photos. And…as past VRBO renters…this was the first home we had rented that was incredibly stocked with coffee bar coffees, kitchen items, and other necessities for the bathroom. We highly recommend this VRBO rental!

You should stay here! Absolutely incredible home!
This house is one of the most amazing places I have stayed in since I started using VRBO. It is very clear that an artist designed, built/renovated, and decorated this home. My parents normally stay at a hotel when they make their annual trek to Wisconsin but I convinced them to try renting a house this year. When my Dad walked in, his jaw dropped. He kept walking around, saying, “This house is incredible” over and over again. The kitchen is more than well equipped and a joy to cook in. The living space has comfortable places to settle in for TV watching, reading, or chatting. The master bedroom is incredibly spacious which gave my parents plenty of space to spread out (they do not travel light). My son and I were tucked into the smallest bedroom. It was a little cramped but that is to be expected when you are sleeping in a full size bed with your 11 year old son. 😂 Again, it is the design and decor of this home that make it such a joy to stay in. The deck space has a calming water fountain, comfortable chaise lounges, and a great grill. The outdoor, screened in porch (I feel like porch is not the right word because this space is big) was the perfect place to enjoy pre-dinner appetizers, play games, or nap in the hammock. There is also a fire pit with kindling and wood provided. We enjoyed making s’mores and singing along with my dad and his ukulele. The outdoor shows was one of my favorite touches. Showering a night while looking up at the pines and stars was magic. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and live right next door should you ever need anything. The house is perfectly located near Point Beach State Forest and is also close to town. I could not recommend this property more!

Great trip!
The pictures don't do this property justice. The house is absolutely beautiful and the decorations are so unique. My kids loved the outside shower. It was so relaxing to sit outside and just bird watch. The location is ideal, my husband took daily hikes on the trails in the woods. We enjoyed the beach every day. Kevin and Karen gave us great recommendations for dinner and ice-cream and multiple locations to beach entrances. They are so personable and were very welcoming. We hope to visit again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Gorgeous getaway
Do yourself a favor and stay here! The property has two main buildings - the owner's house on the left and this guesthouse on the right. Behind the guesthouse is a hot tub and 3 season building with an enormous table perfect for board games and two hammocks. The property is well landscaped with flowers, trees and fountains. Bird feeders throughout ensure good birdwatching while you're here. Access to the beach and the state park are across the road. It is approximately a 10 minute walk on a crushed gravel road to get to the soft white sand beach which is very isolated. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back. The rental house is very clean and cute, with a stocked kitchen. There is a firepit out back and the owner was very generous with firewood. The hot tub jets were not working when we were there, but it was still hot and nice to relax in given it was pretty chilly during our stay. The owner did say he was waiting on parts to get this fixed, so I expect it to be in working order soon.

Last hurrah of summer trip
We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hummingbird Retreat & Chickadee cottage. The cottage was thoughtfully decorated with many artistic touches, was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The natural setting was idyllic. There was abundant wildlife. We loved being so close to Point Beach State Forest and to Neshotah Beach in Two Rivers. Wished we could have stayed longer, but hope to make a return trip.

Girls Family Getaway
This was the perfect location for a relaxing girls family getaway! Kevo was welcoming & very helpful. As soon as we walked into the Hummingbird Retreat we felt right at home. The outdoor shower was great as was the entire outdoor area. Inside was cozy and had everything we needed. Kevo and Karen are gracious host who clearly put love and care into their property. We can’t wait to come back again!

Cabin with Pizzazz
This a truly delightfully decorated cabin with an artsy bird theme on a woodsy lot. We stayed here for our family vacation with our 3 adult kids and loved the different well thought out spaces and knotty pine walls. From the outside, it doesn't look very big, but Kevo & Karen have updated this cabin very thoughtfully. The Queen master bedroom has an additional twin bed in it, but my son opted to sleep in the padded hammock in the nearby lanai while the other 2 kids occupied the other 2 full beds. The large Lanai had a ceiling fan and big table for games or additional eating space. We loved cooking in the updated kitchen which had everything we needed to do so. The bathroom space was very adequate which included front loading laundry stacked units and a side door that led to the marvelous outdoor shower! Even my daughter loved the cool outdoor enclosed shower! Kevo supplied the firewood for the fire pit outback and offered us extra chairs if needed. The hosts do live next door but were never intrusive. We used to camp and now we glamp! Many thanks again...We hope to be back!

Wonderful relaxing retreat
Lovely spot in a quiet location. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck, sitting by the campfire, cooking in the great kitchen. Great getaway with a good friend.
