« Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area. »

« Lovely small hotel / bed and breakfast place. Very clean room, lobby and breakfast room. Has a comfortable looking lounge with books but did not use it. Nice touches like high end toiletries, juice / milk available outside the room, plenty of different coffee and speciality teas. Breakfast was great with good products. We had full English one morning and smoked salmon the next. Plenty of other things like cereal, yoghurt etc. We would stay again. »

« What a lovely place! The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can. I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! »
