„It was a pleasant stay for a very basic hotel. My only issue is our room was not like it is shown in the photo. The walls are painted very dark and the bedding is also dark which meant the whole feel of the room was gloomy. I am one that loves light so I found this difficult after expecting a light and airy room as in the photos. My communication rating is low because I emailed the hotel a couple of weeks before we travelled as I was concerned that our booking wasn’t confirmed as we had not paid ...

„I had an excellent stay“

„We enjoyed the location and ease of travel to the activities and park locations. There wasn't a kitchenette as listed and not even a counter for the microwave but the fridge worked well. I don't think the bathroom fan worked at all though. There was no room service or breakfast and "social distancing " was the excuse, lame and outdated. The bed was comfortable and TV worked well and lots of hot water and ac. Overall an ok value but not what I'd consider a vacation spot.“

„The name was different so made it very hard to find. Also could not check in here there is nobody at front desk. I had to drive across town to a different hotel to check in. Overall a very poor experience. “

„I usually LOVE the Everglades and normally stay at the ivy house but this time stayed at the captain’s table. The room was not clean when we got there so she switched rooms. The beds were to small and extremely uncomfortable. For some reason the mosquitos were a lot worse than normal. Couldn’t go outside without being directly in the sun because we were swarmed at any shade or when it was dark. I know the Everglades is a swamp and I know there are mosquitoes but this time was bad.
