Step into historical elegance with enchanting art and decor at this expansive 2 bedroom, 2 bath home at La Posada de Taos Inn. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned for your stay. Each of the 2 large bedrooms with en suite private baths welcome you to the character and hospitality of Taos. The stocked kitchen and adjoining cheerful dining area are comfortable for gatherings and conversation over cooking anytime of day. Furnishings and art from around the world adorn the Loft collected by the owners in their journeys.

There are several unique spaces available for rent on our property. La Posada de Taos can offer space for up to 25 guests. Please ask about accommodating family gatherings and larger groups for your next visit with us.

Our Historic adobe home is naturally cool even in the warm temperatures of June here. We do have an evaporative cooling system in the middle living area of the home for additional cooling and it works very well. Our evenings in Taos are definitely cooler but with the added cooling system, almost chilly! Be assured you will have nice, cool evenings with the combination of both.

Great location and place
Perfect stay for two couples with two bedrooms, both ensuite. Location was close to everything but in a quiet area (especially as school was out - it's near a school). Would stay there again!

Nice but problems
Firstly, this is a lovely property with a great location. The on site manager is terrific. The problems we encountered were: 1. the cable was out and would not be repaired until after our visit. Suggest owner have a VCR for guests instead of listing cable as an accommodation. Our understanding is that cable is out frequently in Taos so should not be listed as an accommodation. We were disappointed as we are out all day and part of evening and enjoy movies, news etc as nightly entertainment. 2. There were flying ants that came out of the crack in the ceiling beam in the living room. They were sprayed by the maintenance manager, dead bodies swept up by housekeeping while we were out. When we came home we were responsible for sweeping up the dead bodies. Yuk. Creepy. 3. The front pocket screen door does not work. The lock box prohibits it from closing. What an eye sore plus the potential for more bugs to enter. Window in one of the bedrooms did not open due to broken hinge and bathroom window is broken. Would have liked to have opened these windows for cross ventilation while sleeping. 4. The downstairs unit was cleaned and sprayed for bugs while we were in the unit. We were literally gassed out of the living area.

Comfortable Stay Close to Taos Plaza
Nice private and quiet upstairs suite in 2-3 unit building. Plenty of parking and easy walk to the plaza. Mountain view a bit obscured by summer trees and dated but functional kitchen. Large master bedroom with king bed. Nice place.

Easy check-in and helpful tips were appreciated. The home is well thought out and decorated with local art. The kitchen is well-stocked and made cooking easy, though it's close to many delicious options to eat out. The home was not fully cleaned, but we would still recommend staying there.

Great Girlfriend Getaway!
My best friend from high school and I spent three nights in this lovely VRBO property in Taos. It was beautifully and artistically decorated, with comfortable beds and within walking distance of Taos Plaza and many restaurants. We had trouble using the remote to access the Dish network and Louisa came over and replaced the batteries and showed us how to use it. Very responsive! We only prepared one meal in the unit and would have liked a bread knife, but otherwise it is a well-equipped kitchen. I would definitely stay there again!

We had a beautiful two bedroom suite very attractively decorated. Large sitting/ eating area between the bedrooms. Very convenient to central Taos. All in all outstanding. You will need to call when you arrive for code to key lock box.

Perfect vacation spot!
We had an amazing stay! The place was charming and cozy and spacious all at once. Adorably decorated. Being on the second floor, we were able to use the balcony for coffee drinking in the nice cool weather. A fabulous family stay @ La Posada de Taos
This is a spectacular property both outside and inside. The home is filled with gorgeous artwork, furniture, and light fixtures. There are beautiful touches all around. The mirrors, light switch plates, overall decorations are fully in keeping with the Spanish and Mexican locale of Taos. The beds and bedding including the pull out couch for the 6 of us were wonderful. We cooked and ate our meals right there and even had hors d'oeuvres downstairs in the garden area. We loved the quaintness of the neighborhood and of Taos overall. We spent time out in the surrounding countryside as well. We did not all meet the owner and were sorry not to be able to give our feedback in person. Thanks so much.

We absolutely loved our stay. We have stayed in Taos quite a few times and this was one of our favorites. Beautifully decorated, thoughtful details throughout. Great location and the hosts made the check in process completely painless. Will definitely stay here again!

Taos Family Getaway
The property is just lovely. Beautiful view from the deck and the interior us so colorfully decorated with lovely local art. Beds were very cozy, kitchen is perfect for any meals, but the town square is a 5 minute walk to local restaurants and shops. Such a beautiful place! We would highly recommend!
