« Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options...

« This property is like staying in someone's home. There's a few imperfections here and there, but it's clean well stocked and fairly easy to get to. There are three different fast food restaurants directly across the street.My only issue is that it's a little noisy because it's on the main road and traffic is going by at all hours. But it was much better than a hotel where that there might have been noise in a hallway or from adjacent rooms, so we were all very pleased with the value of staying...

« Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only bummer is that the hot tub doesn’t really hold heat (it was cold when we went). Since that was one of the main reasons we chose this place that was a bit of a let down. I’m sure with the weather warming up it would be perfect. Other than that, the place is beautiful and relaxing. The area is beautiful and quiet. »

« Everything was wonderful. The property was beautiful. There were other people staying at the homes on site, but none of it was a distraction. Close enough to town to do excursions. The only thing I would add is maybe a screen door so that you could allow some extra fresh air in and light. Hosts were wonderful and easy to contact when we needed something. Recommend for a cozy gate away. »

« Very cute place to stay at a perfect location to the little historic district of Winchester. Bed was comfortable but very small futon. We are tall people so it was not quite long enough for us. Bathroom was extremely small, doable for us but if we were bigger people it would be difficult to get into that space. Water pressure for sink was poor, shower was just okay. Quaint place with a friendly, engaged owner. We would go back just for the amazing location! »

« Very clean, plenty of space for 2 of us, comfortable king size bed. The place is as described with kitchenette of refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and coffeemaker. Host was receptive to text and very accommodating. It is a bit of a hike uphill from Lower Harpers Ferry to the unit, but still a nice walk to all the trails, shops and restaurants. »

« 1st time visiting the East Coast and our stay in this beautiful, quaint home was perfect! We felt the warm welcome as soon as we walked in and enjoyed the thoughtful complimentary items. The house was close to Harper’s Ferry & neighboring cities, lots to do in close proximity. Enjoyed the porch on our last night as we sat and listened to the rain and the sound of the river. Host was very attentive & prompt. Definitely recommend as a place to stay for a small family! »
