The lack of air conditioning was not a problem even in July, as it was not so hot and ceiling fans provided a pleasant room climate. There are fly screens in front of almost all the windows. The shared use of the washing machine, the USB socket and the garage parking space were a great plus. The location was quiet and yet there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. „The Garden Cottage is set back in a peaceful garden teaming with hummingbirds and pollinators. We enjoyed having meals on the deck overlooking the garden and relaxing on the backyard patio. A great spot for spending time with family. Rodney was a perfect host who went out of his way to assure our stay was enjoyable!“

„The property is wonderful and very close to so many amazing attractions! We did experience a person jumping on top of the house in the middle of the night, resulting in the police having to be called. I would have liked for the owner/host to reach out and acknowledge what happened. Other than the incident it we had a great time!“

„My husband and I wanted to visit OB dog Beach and this place was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be tight if you had additional guests. We loved the little fenced in yard and propane gas fire table outside. The casita is shaded by large trees and stays cool with the fans and ocean breeze. The property management company left us a special note and the place was very clean. We hope to return!“

„This is a nice little beach house in a quiet neighborhood. It is comfortable and conveniently located near Mission Bay and the beach. It was great for our girls week at the beach. The biggest plus is having the parking space right behind the unit. This is a typical beach community where parking can be difficult. The kitchen is adequately supplied including dishes for children. „A friend and I spent a week in San Diego. The Avocado Hut was perfect. We loved that it has two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen area. The private outdoor space was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely stay at the Avocado Hut any time I visit San Diego!“
