„The location of this home is perfect. Far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to go to the grocery store and into Montepulciano. Frank and Silva, the owners were a delight. They didn't speak much english, but we laughed every morning with them. Frank makes his own wine from the on property vineyard and Silva makes handbags and jams. Frank wine is as good as any other in Italy. And so much less money!!! Their home and grounds are beautiful. We were three couples and had plenty ...

„Es war ein typisch altes italienisches Haus, aber dennoch gemütlich und das Haus hatte viel Platz. Nur bei schlechtem Wetter sind Wohnzimmer und Küche zusammen klein für 8 Erwachsene. Es ist eine wunderschöne Gegend mit einem sehr schönen Kratersee, dem Bolsena-See (der See ist der größte in Europa). Sie müssen Italienisch sprechen, da sie kein Englisch sprechen. wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.“

„Das Haus ist von 1910, von daher kann man natürlich keinen Neubaustandard erwarten. Aber trotzdem gäbe es einige Dinge, die den Aufenthalt schöner machen würden und das dem Reisepeis auch angemessen wäre. Aber zunächst die positiven Punkte: - atemberaubende Aussicht - Alleinlage, völlig ungestört - erfrischender Pool und bequeme Liegen - WLAN mit ausreichender Bandbreite Negativ: - Sauberkeit ließ an vielen Stellen zu wünschen übrig - Inneneinrichtung sollte erneuert werden, z.B. Stühle, ...

„This is a larger authentic Tuscan farmhouse with a lovely lush garden. The house has a rustic feel with lots of the furniture made by the hosts, the pool and garden are beautiful to relax and take in the views. Many of the sights in southern Tuscany and Umbria are close by (by car). The property is clean and the beds and bathrooms are very comfortable. The hosts are very discreet but will make you feel very welcome. Definitely would visit again! “

„We had a wonderful time at this location. Especially the pool was the highlight of the stay. We were playing and swimming every minute in it. Another nice factor is the huge table inside and outside were we all could sit, eat and play at the same time. Definitely a place to be when in Umbria.“
