Very nice place but the 5 star rating stops there.
The management company was awful to work with, their demands were over the top, and they offered no alternatives. But, even worse, they continually said we had not paid for our reservation. First they messaged me through VRBO and told me I had only paid half, and we could not check in until we paid in full. Then I called the company, Coveted Hospitality, to find I had paid in full already. I owed them nothing.
Then the next day ( check in day) they sent me another message saying I had paid anything and owed the full amount immediately or I could not check in.
On top of that, they continually sent me dead links to submit photo id, and a photo of me holding my id before we could check in. Without the photo id, we couldn’t check in. I called the company again and after 20 minutes of trying to cancel this reservation, they finally asked if I used Safari as my search engine. Yes. Then they let me know I had to download and use a different search engine For the links to work. This is all hours before we arrive. Exasperating and they offered no alternative, it was their way or the highway. Not customer friendly.
And, on my bank card statement, they charged us directly instead of VRBO charging us.
When I asked why the host (from the company) kept telling us we had not paid, they passed it off as “an automated message”. What bad business.
