« We had a most enjoyable time staying in Lake of the Woods with our accommodative host. The large and spacious rooms had everything we needed and warm, the bed is comfortable. Our host even lent us some snow sleds we could take up to Nordic Base and go sledding. We arrived a little late and we weren’t able to buy groceries, however our host sold us some organic eggs he raises. I will return again for a longer stay »

« This was a fantastic space for the two of us, with an ample deck. It was a bit chilly, so we didn't really spend much time out on the patio, and we were only here for a short stay while visiting friends in Glendale. The only thing to be aware of with this property is the windows: they have regular plastic blinds. Great for privacy, but they're not adequate for blocking out sunlight in the mornings. So if you're looking to sleep in at all, your sleep might be disrupted by the morning light...
