« We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future. »

« This farmhouse was absolutely amazing! It was clean and comfortable. The fireplaces made it so cozy. We will definitely be back. You don't need to leave once you get there but it is super convenient to town. Our dogs felt right at home and we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. »

« This was such a great place for our family. We could look out the window and see horses. We loved it. It was just after Christmas and we were visiting my sister and her family so we wanted a place where we could all sit down and have a meal. And this place is perfect and so lovely. Just as described, clean, easy to access and the host was amazing, even checked in with us after we arrived to ask if there was anything else we needed. We have family in this area, we will stay here again! »

« Such a wonderful respite from our busy lives. Perfect setting , great home, so much fun tubing in the New River which is close by and enjoying the fire out and outdoor space and porches. Plenty of towels and supplies. Home is very clean and well kept. »

« This cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. We were in town for the New River Trail races (I ran the 50k) and we enjoyed the map of the trail on the dining table. The kitchen was stocked and the snacks and K cups were appreciated. There is a trail down to the river (not for those with limited mobility) and it was a fun adventure finding the markers in the trees. The property manager was excellent and helped turn on the fireplace, which was my favorite feature since we were...

« Beautiful cabin near river. Very backwoods. Recommend truck because road is mostly gravel for a couple of miles. No cell service outside of cabin. Food, gas, and supplies several miles away (at least 15-20 mins). Grill had missing air vent on bottom causing sparks to come out a lot. Owner is super responsive! Jetted tub is nice. »
