This hotel has a terrible bug problem. We were met on the first day of check-in at this property by a lovely pile of about 40-50 dead bees on the ground, across the room, on tables, the couch, coasters, etc - housekeeping was then called (Which on that phone call we were explicitly told the room had been TREATED for bees - so this was a known issue to staff) and they were vacuumed up. Next day, another 20 or so bees are piled up and now there’s live ones too. We call front desk again - representative says they will move us to a different cabin. Asked for the property manager - told they did not work weekends. Asked for the day manager - told they would not be in until the afternoon. How does a property, nonetheless one run by Hilton - a major corporation - in a major tourist destination not have any actual managers on duty?!? We’re then connected with the room coordinator who offers a refund for the prior night and to waive the resort fee (Which as of now is still charged to my card..). Sure. Just want to get back out to having a vacation. We move everything into our new room. This one was at least a little nicer. Not for long though. Guess what? Dead ladybugs everywhere. Seems each different townhome has a different species. At least these ones didn’t bite - although multiple of them were very much alive. We only had two more nights on our stay and were planning on being outside both days so we just gave up and killed any live ones. Moral of the story - this place blows.
