Summerwind vacay
We live summerwind. This particular unit needs a little updating. There was mold on the shower curtain in the main bathroom, the towel rack was broken and on check out day the cleaning person came 45 minutes before check out. I wanted to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view for a little while before leaving but she was outside the front door.

Great location but furniture and condo needs updating.
The building and location is wonderful! The condo is in need of some updating and cleaning. The furniture is very worn, the dining table top is messed up & stained, as is the dresser in owner’s suite. The condo is in need of painting in several areas including the owner’s bathroom above the mirror, the pantry door is worn(missing paint) etc. The living room seating is worn. The flooring was not clean when we arrived.

Great place to stay!
The condo is roomy and comfortable and it has three bathrooms. Check in and communication was excellent. The view was spectacular and the beach is just an elevator ride down and short walk past the pools. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Loved it. Everything was easily accessible. Security checks that everyone belongs there constantly, felt very safe. Same with parking, everyone had to have a sign so the parking availability was great. Issues with the bathtub drain was resolved quickly. Loved the wonderful communication with the property management. Only two room negatives are the master bathroom sink has one that once the drain stopper goes down there’s no way to pull it up, other side has a pull up handle on back of faucet. And the kitchen table top is so rough & scared up that it doesn’t feel clean even after wiping it down several times.

Fantastic Family Friendly Getaway
We chose this property for eight adults and one child to celebrate our parents 80th birthdays. Each group had their own sleeping space and bathroom. We were extremely surprised and pleased with the sound isolation. Once in your room you didn’t hear other guests, running water, toilets flushing, tvs, cars, etc… Initial supplies were provided. We wish there had been coffee filters or information upfront indicating flat bottom filters needed. Additionally, the refrigerator shelves need some help. Food for 9 for a week is heavy but we made it work. Overall, a lovely experience and location. Finally, we came in 3 cars from three different regions. It would have been nice to have a third parking pass even if it was a paid pass. Had to be less expensive than the $200 boot, so take note, folks! The property is serious about this enforcement.

Family Beach Trip
We had a wonderful week at The Summerwind. The unit was perfect for our group of 8. The location is perfect and you can’t beat the views. Plenty of parking available and carts to assist with luggage. We loved looking out at the pier and watching the dolphin and stingrays. The two complimentary beach chairs were a nice added bonus. Our family will definitely be back!

The property description said 2 queen pull out sofas and there was only one. There was an issue with the sink leaking around the garbage disposal and I called to report it and it never got fixed. We used a bowl to catch the water so it wouldn’t leak out on the kitchen floor. The drain in the master shower was not affixed so it moved around and there would be a hole where the drain was. The stopper in the master shower didn’t work. A lot is little things that added up and made things inconvenient for the stay.

Great place that needs maintenance, and morr attention to guests.
Great view of the ocean, adequate accommodations that need maintenance and attentuon to detail. Listing was not accurate in that there are not two pull out sofa beds. Thankfully we did not need them. Check in was late. Check in was at 4, at 3:55 we still had not recieved information so we called the host. They told us the unit was clean but needed to be inspected. We did not receive our door code until 4:19 whcih we had to call them back for and only then did the code get sent. The air conditioning thermostat didn’t work correctly, so it was either cold or hot until we had them fix it. The first night we went looking for a blanket in the closets only to find one with a crusty yellow stain. All but one shower and tub drain needs to be fixed, and one was clogged. They were either missing or not attached and laid on top of the drain. All these issues were brought to the attention of the host who brought us more blankets, unclogged the drain and fixed the thermostat. We just wish the unit had all these things repaired before our stay.

This condo needs some upkeep and repair performed. Duct tape to cover up missing paint on cabinets, but worse is that two of the three shower/tubs wouldn’t drain in a timely manner. It took 30 minutes for a 5-10 minute shower to drain and meanwhile trying to hurry so you aren’t standing in your own filth. Additionally, went to make a grilled cheese for lunch and all Teflon pans were grossly scratched up and remaining pans had baked on food.

For the money that was spent it could have been better
The door kept catching and didn’t want to shut because it’s broken at the bottom and someone had to pull it tighter while someone locked it it was a mess. The paints peeling off the cabinets bad. All the dressers and night stands are stained up. The floor in the master is all scratched up. The thermostat was cracked. And when we arrived the floors were absolutely disgusting as if they hadn’t even been swept or mopped. The ottoman had a huge stain. The listing had different couches and also said we got complimentary beach chairs only to be told it’s $50 a day. The texts we were being sent stated different things than the stuff in the room stated. There is so much miscommunication and confusion. It was insane but over all the stay wasn’t too bad. The views were amazing.

Wonderful property with an Amazing Location
Within walking distance to 3 restaurants and a good morning espresso makes this property top of the list. A few mornings we had our coffee on the balcony and watched the sunrise, while others the sun rose through our gorgeous master bedroom. Property was well secured so the beach was only property owners/renters from location. Sunsets from the pier were breathtaking. We even had devil rays we had watched flock daily. We even are in close proximity to Sweet Pea at the Turtle Conservatorium. If there was a 6 star option, I would give it to this location. The owner/management communication kept us informed of everything we needed to know.

Worth what we paid
It was a competitive rate for 3br/3bath on beach near pier. Facility was good for us and we liked how things were pretty low key….some shorty maintenance work has been done to unit. Paint peeling on cabinets..during a rain storm the floor in room on north side of building puddles with water bc exterior wall was not sealed well. It was a good trip regardless but I would likely pick a different unit next time
