Übernachten Sie im Nationalwald von Nantahala, denn unsere Hütte ist von Ihrem eigenen 2 Hektar großen Park / Campingplatz abgeschlossen, auf dem Sie sich an einem Picknicktisch am Bach oder an der Feuerstelle entspannen können. Friedlich ohne Nachbarn in der Nähe. Wenn Sie auf der Veranda sitzen, sehen Sie Hirsche, Truthähne und die ganze einheimische Tierwelt. All diese Privatsphäre und nur 5 Minuten von der Innenstadt von Murphy sowie dem Harrah's Casino entfernt. Sie haben eine asphaltierte, kreisförmige Auffahrt, über die Sie bis zur Haustür fahren können, und für Motorräder eine Garage, in der Sie parken können. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, wenn Sie Ihr Haustier mitbringen. Wir liefern Brennholz für die Feuerstelle.

Unsere Hütte bietet alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten (Internet, Direkt-TV und einen Außengrill) sowie einen Kamin im Hauptbereich. Unsere vordere Veranda im Freien ist der perfekte Ort für einen Grillabend und unser Außendeck bietet erstklassige Tierbeobachtungen, eine Tasse Kaffee am Morgen und ein gutes Buch oder ein abendliches Glas Wein. Unsere voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über alle modernen Geräte und ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten benötigen. Wir haben ein Queen-Master-Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Badezimmer, ein Loft-Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein eigenes Badezimmer sowie ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.

Great Cabin
I was especially happy with his cabin because the yard was big and fully fenced so that my two large dogs could enjoy the outside without me worrying about them running off. The kitchen was as advertised and just for preparing meals. The balcony off the back and the patio on the front great places to sit and enjoy nature. It’s located close to horseback riding the North Carolina mountain bicycle event, and Whitewater rafting..

The cabin was exactly as described online. It was easy to locate in the woods. We loved that the entire property was fenced so our small dogs could run and play. The inside of the cabin was immaculate and had every amenity that we needed. Eric and Zoe are easy to contact and quick to respond. My only regret is that we couldn’t live there forever.

We had a lovely stay!
Zoe & Eric have made this cabin a home away from home! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped and nicely decorated! Our pups loved running around and we were comfortable with that since the property is all fenced in. Secluded and private yet so close to town. We had a lovely time!

Great place. All of the amenities from home. Nice touch by owner leaving fresh farm eggs and a bottle of wine. The fenced in yard was great for our border collie to run. We got to see a black bear and several deer. Will definitely rent again. No one in my party wanted to leave such a relaxing place especially all of the great views.

We had a fabulous time at the cabin. Great place to stay. Our dog had a great time barking and watching all the wildlife. Best time sitting on the back patio area watching nature. Say deer, a turkey or two. Eric and Zoe were great host. Loved the fresh eggs and wine on our first night. We plan on returning back to the cabin when make our next trip that way.

Perfection!
If you are searching for somewhere to stay and can’t decide, stay here!!! It’s perfect. I wanted to live here. Perfect for pets due to the fenced in yard. Our dog had the BEST time. The hosts are fantastic- gave us fresh eggs and wine! So thoughtful. Very clean cabin and cozy. We loved our stay and visit to Murphy!

We had the best time in Zoe and Eric’s cabin! Super clean, well stocked with all the amenities! Close to downtown but tucked into the woods so very, very quiet. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. You can tell they put a lot of care and thought into their cabin. Thank you for everything!

We wanted to checkout Murphy and found this peace of heaven traveling with our dogs. We loved it was minutes from restaurants, breweries and shopping. We are avid hikers and loved local towns and hikes were close by. We are looking forward to staying again. Thank you for your hospitality again.

Peaceful cabin getaway!
We had such a peaceful stay! The cabin was perfect with all wood finish & cabin decor you hope for with a cabin getaway in the mountains. (We also loved the cute Bigfoot decor. It was actually what first caught my eye when we were looking for a cabin.) The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you need. I love that the hosts, Eric and Zoe, live close by if you need them, but far enough that you can’t even see their home because of all the trees. You can’t see any other homes from the cabin either, so you feel completely secluded in the forest! However it’s close to town to go out to eat or site see surrounding areas. We didn’t even need to contact the hosts because we had no issues at all during our stay. They give you complete privacy and only messaged us once to let us know they are close if we have any issues. We enjoyed our family getaway! Also, we are a family of four, so having two full bathrooms is a plus, many cabins I looked at in my search only had one bathroom. We definitely hope to stay at this cabin again!

Exit mud season
We have been traveling to Murphy for 10 years. Love the early spring and great motorcycling. This year was no exception. The only downside to this rental was the steep driveway. It was a little difficult with our trailer which is wider than the car. It was in no way a deterrent just need a little extra caution and the semicircular driveway was a help. We enjoyed Eric, didn't get to meet Zoe yet, but we will return.

Wonderful Surprise Mountain Retreat
Zoe & Eric were wonderful hosts. Their cabin is well presented in the photos. The kitchen is well stocked and they even greet you with a nice bottle of wine waiting on the table. Weather was quite cold so didn't get to do everything I planned on, but I did enjoy the waterfall byway drive! The cover on the bed kept me toasty and warm. There is a fireplace which was enjoyable as well. I was able to let my fur-buddy out with no worries and he enjoyed himself as well. Highly recommend this Mountain Retreat.

Another great trip to Murphy! Eric and Zoe are amazing hosts! I hesitate to rate their place too highly because I want to save it all for myself! The truth is, This 'cabin' and owners are awesome.. every detail seems to have been thought of and perfected.. Can't wait to go again!

We're so grateful for people like Eric & Zoe who share their experiences to anyone who visit the cabin. It was our honeymoon weekend with one of our furbabies ( senior). Best of both worlds. I'm a city girl and now city girl love the country world too lol. The cabin is clean cozy and very organized. We adore the property. Unfortunately, due to mother nature it rained all weekend. So, we weren't able to enjoy the nice firepit. Our furbaby did enjoy the open space prior to the rain. Fireplace romantic and cozy. Comfortable bed. We fell in love with the property and how the cabin is literally all wood. Very creative. Kitchen supplied with many seasonings and utensils. We definitely enjoy how the sofa is angled near the windows, sound of rain pouring while reading a book or watching a movie. The back deck is awesome. Swing seat, more seatings around. It was only us three. Our furbaby really enjoyed the cabin as well. We were very relaxed. Great experience. The well water! Boy, how I miss drinking from the tap lol. We enjoyed that very much. Water taste so clean! Also, love how Eric & Zoe gave a background story in their binder, as well as very detailed information of Murphy's surrounding areas. Very detailed and love the humor around the house and property. You'll see what I mean lol Again amazing experience for honeymoon and first time home away to another home. We did not want to leave. We'll be coming back for sure probably for a whole week lol ! 😁

Amazing retreat
Excellent location, so close to all, but also serene, peaceful and quiet. Fully equipped with anything we could have possibly forgotten. We found it was festivally holiday decorated which was so special since we forgot our decorations. These hosts are incredible and easy to communicate with. We also found this home ultra clean. This is a great cabin for a weekend or for a week. All the needed amenities are in the cabin. The fenced in yard is great for pets. The town of Murphy is just down the road. The cabin just works! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Eric and Zoe do a wonderful job!
