Séjour très agréable
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l'appartement de Nicholas et Ben, qui se sont révélés être des hôtes charmants et accueillants (pas de problème d'heures pour l’arrivée et le départ notamment). Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos du site, il est bien situé, dans un quartier calme, relativement près du métro, d'où nous avons pu visiter Londres à notre guise. Nous étions 6 personnes (2 adultes et 4 enfants) et l'appartement nous a offert une parfaite alternative aux chambres d'hôtel plus classiques.

Delightful and homely
We loved staying here, and very close to Stockwell train station allowing us to have easy transport to all the attractions in London. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and we adored the garden, doggies and seeing turtles in the pond. 5/5 for this beautiful little home.

Great stay and the host was very informative/responsive. The space needs a refresh (e.g., the leather couch was torn) including a deep clean, and some touch-up painting. Main bedroom is newer and felt fresh. Kitchen and sitting room needs some TLC.

Nuestro viaje ha sido muy satisfactorio gracias al alojamiento, es la primera vez q visitamos Londres y no conocíamos la ubicación, pero he de decir que stockwell green está muy bien comunicado a través de la línea Victoria. La experiencia ha sido muy gratificante y el alojamiento estupendo. Nos ha faltado poder disfrutar de los jardines de la casa por falta de tiempo y pq hacia mucho frío y dentro de la casa se estaba muy calentitos. Darle las gracias a los anfitriones, todo estaba ok. En la época de Navidad Londres está precioso pero hace mucho frío y llegar a casa y encontrarse con una temperatura tan cálida se agradece. Volveremos, sin duda

Handy location great for a getaway
Ben was always helpful and prompt in communication. This garden suite has two bedrooms, a comfy couch and full kitchen which was great for our group when visiting. We were able to pack in a lot as it was so close to the city (it seemed like we were 20mins away from all the hot spots).

Great place, great location, amazing hosts :)
We loved our stay at the Griffin House! There were four of us and the flat was well laid out for it. The hosts were so kind to set the place up for us as we came in late. The gardens are exceptional. The location is very convenient. There is a co-op 5 minute walk but if you prefer a well equipped store just across the street! The Stockwell station is a 10 minute walk and gets you right into the City Center for the sites. Brixton proper is maybe a 15 minute walk where you will find a very active area with all kinds of things to explore. Kitchen was well equipped and the shower was great. Highly recommend :)

Place was nice
The property was nice, backyard was great (we didn't use it much). The couch could use an update it's old and not very comfortable and the photos show what we assume are other rooms in the house that weren't part of the basement suite we were in. The hosts were easy to get ahold of when we needed towels or to replace sheets. Overall the stay was fine, it was further out from everything they wanted but if you like to explore and take the tube it's a good location.

Perfect location!
Just a few minutes from the Stockwell station, this beautiful home served 6 friends and family members absolutely wonderfully. We were very happy with the flat and all the amenities it came with. If we ever come back to.London, hopefully this house is available. Also, Bruno is ADORABLE!!!

Familienurlaub mit Kindern
Wir verbrachten eine Woche in einer schönen Ferienwohnung, in der es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Die Lage ist super. Die nächste U-Bahn-Station ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, Brixton mit jeder Menge Cafés und Restaurants liegt direkt in der Nähe - und das Haus mit seinem wunderschönen Garten ist mittendrin eine Oase. Ben und Nicolas sind nette und immer freundliche Gastgeber. Und ihr Hund Bruno war für unsere Kinder das Highlight. Danke Euch dreien für die schöne Zeit.

Great Location, Great Host!
Wonderful home away from home, complete with garden and dog! Easy walk to tube station and short ride to central London, and a store across the street for essentials. Most of my stay I was a woman traveling alone and Nico, Ben & Bruno made me feel safe and in great company. I didn't have time to try all the wonderful day trip suggestions and nearby activities Nico told me about, but I hope to come back with the hubby to do all the things. Thanks for a great stay!

schönes Apartment mit tropischem Garten
wir wurden von Nick sehr freundlich begrüßt und in die Wohnung eingeführt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, komfortabel und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut und jederzeit möglich. Der Zugang zu dem mit viel Liebe gepflegten Garten war jederzeit möglich und ein absolutes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und eine U-Bahn-Station mit Verbindung zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Läden und Restaurants befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Spacious Two-Bedroom Apt. with Garden!
This was our first trip out of the US towards the end (we hope) of COVID, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. Our 10 day visit at Griffin House was spectacular. The apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. Underground and/buses to Central London to the north (10 minutes on Underground) or Kew Gardens to the south (20 minutes on Underground) were close by and plentiful. The garden was beautiful with three semi-private sections. We enjoyed getting to know Brixton and Clapham, both within walking distance of the apartment. There was an incredible selection of multi-ethnic restaurants in both neighborhoods and our favorite neighborhood pub on Brixton Road had out of this world vegan burgers, plentiful outdoor seating and a great beer selection (Brixton a favorite). Our trip was a “working vacation” for both of us, and the apartment had fast and reliable internet and plenty of rooms with doors to enable us to be on Zoom calls simultaneously. To top it off, our hosts, Nic and Ben, surprised us with a bouquet of fresh flowere for our 20th anniversary. As soon as we returned home to Brooklyn, New York, we booked our next London holiday at Griffin House!
