„My dad and I stayed for a couple days at the Brookie cabin. Was a superb spot for us to home-base out of while we fished the Au Sable. „Everything about this property exceeded any expectation I had. The view- the land/rockscaping that takes you down to the river is just beautiful. The river is so close to the house the views are stunning every direction you look. „A very uniquely designed house on a nice quiet little piece of property. Unfortunately we battled what appeared to be an infestation of ants all week long. The host does have traps out, but they don't seem to be doing much and the ants were absolutely everywhere. Secondly, there is no AC, which would be fine if there were more than 2 windows to open, and there was only one small fan. This cabin would likely be fine for fall or winter months when there are less bugs and cooler weather.“
