When we got there, the property was not ready. There was no electricity or air-conditioning in the house. Our daughter and her baby had to drive back across town to their house for the evening because it was too hot to stay in the house, and VRBO People put my husband and I up in a house five or 10 minutes away overnight while they worked on the problem. Before they put us in the other house, our frozen food and cold food turned to soup because there was no refrigeration in the house because we were there for a good couple of hours while they were trying to figure out what was wrong. We finally took our cold food over to the other VRBO house where they put us for one night which had air conditioning electricity and a refrigerator that worked. The property manager did work hard to get the problem solved, but it took overnight until well into the afternoon the next day because it was a larger problem than they thought. They did reimburse us for one night, and give us a bit of money towards the cold and frozen food that was ruined. In addition, the property manager gave us some goodies to thank us for being patient while they worked on the problem. And he was quite attentive during the problem as well as afterwards, calling and texting several times afterwards to make sure that we were settled back into the original house and that things were still going OK after they fixed everything. After the initial problem, the rest of the stay was very good. The house was clean. The house was comfortable. It was large enough for our family. The neighborhood was quiet the location was good, and the pool was awesome. I feel I do have to mention, however, that this house has a lot of rules to follow. So if you don’t like following rules, this is not the house for you. I did find one rule to be quite annoying and that was the fact that we could not touch the pool vacuum, which was hooked up in the pool at all times. The reason I found this annoying was because the pool was actually large enough to swim some laps which I like to do, and while I was swimming laps, the vacuum would always move itself into the way of my swimming, and I had to push it out of the way constantly. There were plenty of towels provided, including towels for the pool, and blankets for outside use around the pool. Also, Once the air conditioner was fixed, the temperature was permanently set at 72°, sometimes going up to 75°, and we were not able to adjust it below 72 at any time.
