„It's a truly unique location... being cut off by the tide twice a day on your own island. It's stunning. The attention to Art Deco is remarkable. It was spotlessly clean. The service is relaxed not over the top. The food was really good, not superb and perhaps not quite worth the price, but I get that you're paying for the location as much as anything. „Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. „Tim and Shelia were wonderful hosts. We stayed for a few nights in The Shippen, there self catering cottage. There was four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect mini break. The grounds of the house were lovely with chickens roaming and the house was just up from the tidal creek. The area was lovely and rural and quiet but still had a fantastic pub in the village and not to far drive from some shops. Vest if all were some of the fantastic beaches that were still quiet even in half term. ...
