„Quiet cabin surrounded by nature yet very close to the nearby town. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises and the sounds of birds and a rooster in the distance. Had nice visits from deer. Cabin had everything we needed. Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 kids sharing a bedroom. Master bed was very comfortable and felt huge. Bathrooms were nice and updated. Loved the hot tub but pool was too cold during our visit so we plan to come back in the summer. Perfect for day trips to Wimberley and Fredericksburg and ...

„We were happy with our stay at La Rouge. Nicely appointed and convenient location without being right on Main Street. You can still hear traffic noise in the morning but not terrible. Dogs next door were a bit yippy the first day as we were in the front moving in and then in the back for a hot tub time. Hot tub did drown them out however. Maintenance was very responsive as we had a chirping smoke alarm and it got fixed for the second night. Many thanks for that. Would stay again.“

„Located in a remote, quiet area, this cabin was a perfect getaway for our family. It was well stocked with all the essentials we needed, and very clean. The creek wasn’t running due to the drought but that didn’t take away from the comfort of our stay. I recommend this place to all!“

„The cabin was awesome, the property is beautiful. Mike was super cool, let us use the golf cart, brought the kayaks to the water for us, and let us use his firewood. We cooked, kayaked, ran around with the dog, looked for arrowheads, stargazed, watched deer from the porch. It was perfect. “

„Everything was great - from the home to the attentive team who helped us along the way! The kitchen and barn were great gathering areas. The barn is truly special. The outdoor space was amazing too with views of the hill country and stars at night. It's hard to leave this wonderful place but we did arrange some rides to explore Austin, which was a nice balance to our trip. “
