« We stayed at City Reach Motel twice as a stopover to and from Ararat - Canberra. The hotel is close to Kmart, Coles and fast food options, as well as a few restaurants. The staff are really lovely and did everything in their power to accomodate my mother, who uses a wheelchair due to mobility issues. Room 1 is an accessible room with an accessible bathroom and was very comfortable. Room 2 is non accessible and also very comfortable. Both rooms have a microwave, fridge, split system. Free...

« I had arranged for a late check our of 11am, but at 10.40am the male cleaner knocked and entered my room whilst I was in the bathroom half undressed. There is no chain on the door from the inside to stop this from happening, the chain has been removed. The outdoor area near the pool wasn't very clean and the outside heater had no gas bottle in it so it didn't work, nor did the outside fridge and it was filthy. I wouldn't stay here again especially due to the fact that a male cleaner entered...

« Staff were super friendly. Our room was a ground level & it was quiet, clean & comfortable. Lovely view out to the river. The motel overall is showing signs of its age, but we were happy with our stay. Lovely walk along the riverside into town (not too far, but far enough that you're away from the crowds). Rates are a bit steep, but Bright is super popular & so it's to be expected given the demand. »
