„I was really unhappy about the state of the cottage. It was once clearly a lovely cottage. Nicely decorated with quality fittings. But it was dirty and grubby. Starting at the front door. Weeds at the doorstep, dirty windows, cobwebs, grubby carpets, marked walls, dirty coasters, unopened mail in piles, filthy kitchen cupboard shelves, cupboards under stairs full of dirt and untidy, kitchen under sink filthy and stinking, back garden full of weeds, absolutely disgustingly filthy velvet ...

„Super authentisches, weitestgehend im Originalzustand befindliches viktorianisches Reihenhäuschen. Dicke, alte Holzdielen, Bleiglasfenster, stilechte Möblierung mit Sinn für Details! Der schicke, gußeiserne Kamin im Wohnzimmer ist leider außer Betrieb, aber Die Heizung tut ihren Job sehr gut! Die Küche ist auf dem neuesten Stand - incl. Induktionsherd! Einzig einen Geschirrspüler gibt es nicht... Die Nachbarschaft ist (zumindest für deutsche Verhältnisse) etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig....aber ...

„After a week in London this was the perfect place for our family of five to have some calm days to relax. The house is clean and cosy, everything you need in the kitchen. Really nice bedrooms, and a beautiful private garden. The surroundings are amazing, we recommend strolling through Aldebourgh, boating in Thorpeness and the Framingham Castle! Many thanks to Abi, who takes great care of this house, with her own pictures on the walls!“

„We liked the cottage very much. It was cosy and had a wonderful view to the River Colne. We found everything we needed. We had 2 trips to London, 1 trip to Flatford Mill, to Wivenhoe, the beach of Mersea Island , to Cudmore Grove and we visited our Englisch friends in West Mersea. It was a great adventure, even our grandchildren loved it.“
