„This was such a neat resort. Gift shop, restaurant, tennis, water activities, there was even a wedding ceremony and reception outside by the barn . Horse carriages. So cool. Right on Lake Thompson. It's nestled back in the woods with approximately 30 cabins for rent. Rooms were very nice. Great atmosphere, quite and quaint. Would definitely go back! “

„The hallways need a lot of work. Need to be updated and cleaned daily. The parking lot needs to be repaved and lit better. My room was updated and clean. The lobby and breakfast area are nice. The food was good. Definitely a mix of old and new.“

„The property is nice overall and the appearance is lovely, so I disagree with a previous reviewer. It was not clear from the description that the cabin next door actually shares the amenities. We were not together, but they were in our backyard at the one shared fire pit, which was awkward. Main bed is not comfortable and it squeaks whenever somebody rolls over. I think with some minor improvements, it could be a great place to stay. “

„Super fun cozy little cabin with a great view of lake nokomis. My family enjoyed it and the location was perfect for us. Had a little trouble finding it, we didn't see any kind of signage for the resort but if you need a landmark, its right across the street from LoopHole bar and grill.“

„This was a cute little cottage. Had all the bare bone necessities. Wasn’t sure at first we were even in the right place, there isn’t a sign indicating where you were. Confusing. Went to get quarters and the money changer was empty. It was quite a steep hike down to the lake, so if you’re old you won’t be going up and down. But I do have to say it was peaceful.“

„The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block ...

„This property is absolutely adorable. They have done an incredible job with the barn and set up. We had 5 adults and 3 teenagers and we had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The quietness of the grounds and location to amenities made for a perfect trip. Highly recommend checking here if you plan to relax in the north woods or get married on a farm.“
