„We had an upstairs room looking out over the bay. It is a strange arrangement with the bathroom room and small galley kitchen between the living room and bedroom and accessible from both. However it works just fine. The person on reception was very friendly and helpful. The motel is right on the beach and boardwalk and a 10 minute walk into town. Thoroughly recomment if staying in Gisborne.“

„This Wainui beach Bach studio was perfect for my husband and I. Beautiful beach view, gorgeous beach just a few steps away. Our hosts Carnie and Ivan couldn’t have been nicer. Carnie contacted me a few days ahead to advise me of road closures and offered to put us up early to avoid the closure. There is some surf breaks on this beach so my husband was a happy camper. We hope to visit again as it is a special place. “

„We had the most relaxing stay on Ohope Beach - Richard was very responsive and welcoming, the home made shortbread a nice touch on arrival. The apartment was immaculate, really comfortable with a very well appointed kitchenette and a great shower. A treat to see the sea when you open the curtain in the morning….even better open the door and enjoy the sound of the sea with a cup of tea. The apartment is an 2 minute walk across the road to the beach - perfect for walks and a dip. Great waves! ...

„The property is across the street from the ocean. At one end of the street are restaurants and bistros. A short walk (about 30 minutes) via the ocean walkway will get you to the downtown shops and restaurants. Very lovely. The unit is ideally suited for one or two people. The TV room is very nice and there is a work area with a pair of desks. As for the bed, it's very comfortable. The kitchen isn't set up for doing much cooking, but it was fine for what I needed. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne.
