„Hotel and staff were wonderful! Very convenient to all of downtown Asheville. The staff were very polite and helpful with suggestions for dinner, parking etc. We travelled with our dog and the hotel was very dog friendly. So many restaurants with patios that allowed dogs and all of the stores did as well. Our only complaint is the street noise late night in the room. We were on the 8th floor facing Pack Square and the motorcycles circling and revving of engines went on until 1 am Friday - Sunday ...

„We had the unfortunate honor of being 6th floor guests of the hotel when the elevator lost service. We only stayed overnight (in town for Bonnie Raitt) so our trek up and down the stairs six or seven times was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. The staff was apologetic and very helpful in trying to make the best of an inconvenient situation. We would stay there again - really like the accommodations, convenience, walk ability of the area, and downtown in general. “

„Tolles Hotel, sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Fühlt sich gar nicht nach Hotel an, sondern nach eigener Wohnung. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich allerdings nach einem Zimmer im 3rd floor (oberstes Stockwerk)fragen. Dadurch dass es sich um einen Altbau handelt ist die Trittschalldämmung nicht besonders gut.“

„The hotel is located right in the heart of the city and we were able to walk to all places. Asheville is a beautiful town filled with local businesses. Biltmore Estate is only a 5 minutes car ride. The car park next to the hotel was 20,-$ per day which is a good price for the location. Everybody at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. “

„The property is very unique and conveniently located. Check in was very challenging since there is no staff on sight and check in e-mails did not come through, while all other communications delivered directly to my inbox. When I emailed with concerns about parking due to our late arrival, i was not asked or informed the check in information with my door access code had been sent to me via e-mail.“

„I came to the area to help rebuild after the hurricane damaged homes there. The hotel was close to where we were working and it was quiet. The price to stay a week was fair and the room was clean. That was all I needed while working. The swimming pool was empty but I was not there to swim and didn't care about that. It was just a place to sleep and the bed was comfortable and quiet was all I needed. I will be returning there in the fall to volunteer and plan on staying at the same hotel.“
