« My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday. Very cool suite right in the heart of downtown. The room was very clean, check-in was easy. The only downside was the noise. There are timeshare yours that start in the morning, and we could hear them going on while we were still in bed in the mornings. A white noise machine probably would have drowned that out and it would have been perfect. »

« My daughter and I had a studio on the second floor facing the street. It was advertised as each studio having a balcony or patio but no. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and we enjoyed it even without balcony. The building is older so you could hear the people walking back and forth in the room above us. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location was awesome. It was a very nice experience in Charleston. »

« Very comfortable and clean location. The employees at the location were very kind and helpful. One made quite a few odd and kind of rude comments toward me, but other than that the stay was wonderful. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was enjoying exploring Chareston, the building was in a great central location on King Street. Made walking and biking a breeze. »

« Lodge Alley Inn is a lovely, clean, charming place right in the heart of Charleston's historic district. The room was as described. The staff were friendly and helpful. Important to be aware your room may be multilevel with lots of stairs. Also, you may not be communicating directly with the owner. Lodge Alley is a Bluegreen Vacation Club, and we had two confirmation numbers, one with BlueGreen and one with a third party, ResortShare. So modifying your reservation once you're checked in is...

« The property was very clean with a nice decor. Daniel Island was a great location, seemed central to downtown Charleston as well as other outlying islands. I would say the property description was a little misleading. This is definitely a studio apt, not a 1 bedroom. That being said there was plenty of room, it was just all in one large room other than the small kitchenette. »

« This is such a gorgeous home and even better in person! We got the pool heated plus the hot tub were highlights. The property managers were very helpful! »

Dishonourable taxes methods

"They take extra from your deposit, like parking, without telling you before and even if you don't have a car. L'hôtel factures des frais sans prévenir et les débite sur votre carte, comme frais parking même si vous n'avez pas de véhicule. C'est impossible de les joindre."

Prestations pas au niveau du prix

"La chambre était vraiment petite pour 4 personnes. En particulier la salle de bain. L'ensemble manque aussi cruellement de modernité. Nous avons payé plus cher pour une vue sur le fleuve mais, c'était décevant, car on ne voyait quasiment rien. Nous étions 4 mais n'avons eu que 3 sets de serviettes tout le long du séjour, malgré que nous ayons signalé l'erreur à l'accueil. Il est indiqué sur Hôtels.com qu'il y a une laverie dans l'hôtel mais c'est faux. Bref, le rapport qualité prix n'est pas au rendez-vous. Le point positif est la localisation de l'hôtel en centre ville."
