The place is fabulous, albeit the fact that it is a trailer (which explains why the bathrooms have not been redone). Decor is fun and colorful, location is great, view of Mount Baker is stunning, kitchen is well-stocked, beds are comfortable, but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The home had everything we needed. Returning in the summer would be nice as the porch is right on the water. Plenty of room for 4-6 people, but more might be a crowd. In you call Vacasa, you are directed to a third-party call center. We had to call twice. First, the entry code we were given did not work, so we called & the code the rep gave us did not work. We were finally directed to a lockbox with a key. Second, there was a terrible odor that we called & reported on arrival & were told they would contact their local agent and let us know; 24 hrs later we had no call back, so we called again. The Vacasa rep said it was probably a dead animal & would be removed Monday (the day left). When I said I would leave that in my review, they connected me to a local realtor who explained the smell was from the water during low tide; still not sure if that was accurate. It did not impact our stay - the place was still great, but we were aware of the smell in one part of the home. Overall, recommend staying here at least for a weekend away. Aside from Vacasa not being local & the bathrooms needing remodel, the trailer is outfitted with everything you need for a fun weekend on the island.
