This is a beautifully decorated villa, abundant with thoughtful attention to detail, high end accessories, and deluxe comforts, such as silk linens, expensive and bountiful towels, bath soaps, candles, etc. The style is reminiscent of villas in Tuscany, Italy. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time (and probably money) decorating the house.
In addition, the hosts are extremely helpful and eager to please, going above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
I think the location provides an excellent balance between the busyness of downtown Sedona (which is quite crowded and commercialized) and being out in the desert. It's about 10 minutes to Sedona, and the drive is beautiful. Being to the west, it makes the drive to Jerome and Cottonwood easier. And it's very close to many vineyards.
There is a beautiful bedroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room for an additional guest, which is comfortable. I would note that if your quest who is sleeping in the living room is a late riser, he/she will likely hear you in the kitchen in the morning, as the living room is situated above the kitchen in a sort of split-level style. There's a nice opening in the wall between the kitchen and the LR, with a shade that pulls down. The shade provides privacy, but blocks little noise.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are making plans to return.
