While the house is clean, there was no hot water. No credit received. No further response from the owner.
Day 1: Communicated with the property and heard back timely, but without resolution or attempt to address in the first night. So no one was able to shower/bathe after a full day road trip from NY.
Day 2: A neighbor came to check out the situation, but was limited to offering a kettle and a bucket. I asked for another bucket and was given a used mop bucket. My party of 6 had to wait for one person to finish before the next person could clean up.
Day 3: Checked out still without hot water. I requested for credit from the owner. He noted sending $50 which I never received. I noted that $50 is unreasonable for the inconvenience caused and that I would not have booked the property even at $100 less had I known of the cold water issue. I never heard back.
Nonetheless, we left the property tidy, and even collected all garbage into one bag. Would have hoped for the same courtesy.
