The house is cosy and confy , jacqueline was a attentionated host, the house was decorated for christmas and she baked some delicious biscuit for ourself and our dog.the location is perfecg for visiting all the stunning village around and their christmas market. "Der Gastgeber David empfing uns sehr herzlich. Er sorgte für die Anwesenheit seiner deutschsprachigen Cousine, da er meinte, sein eigenes Deutsch sei nicht so gut. Obwohl es nicht nötig war, fanden wir es sehr aufmerksam. Das Haus ist Davids Elternhaus (sein Vater hieß Tony, daher "chez Tony"), es ist groß und sowohl schön als auch gut ausgestattet. "This has been a most appealing house in which to enjoy a holiday. The main living room is spacious and airy, and furnished with style and panache. It opens on to a secluded terrace for al fresco dining. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need for cooking your own meals. It looks out on to a courtyard, which is shared with neighbours. Upstairs are large bedrooms with comfortable beds and splendid views across the compact town and into the Voges mountains and the nearby woods...

"The property was perfect for our stay. Had all the facilities we needed and was set in a beautiful surrounding. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and with the help of adhoc sign language and some google translate, we managed to communicate well !"

"This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

Elle m’avait donné tous les contacts pour le traiteur (tout était délicieux), la brasserie locale (la bière a été apprécié à l’unanimité), la boulangerie,… cela m’a beaucoup facilité l’organisation! Le cadre est top, je recommande la visite de la chèvrerie, la cascade du cuisinier et le domaine Beaucerf! Tout le monde a adoré le week-end, on a passé un super moment, je recommande vivement ! "This is a charming little house with old bones and modern comforts (plumbing, windows, cooktop). You can hear the village church bells and the swifts that nest in the eaves. The hosts are lovely people who gave good advice on the local area. Bear in mind that almost everything is closed on Sundays and business hours are more limited than you may be used to.
