« This little treasure is hard to beat! Very well appointed, with everything you need during your stay.The position is gorgeous, steps from the beautiful Avoca Beach. Close to all shops with a short walk to the Surf Club, with many Cafes to choose from.We would highly recommend this accommodation. »

« This cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. I loved that we were a short walk to a mall where we could shop and dine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I travel to Australia in the future. »

« Everything was taken care of - we could just relax ! The generous provisions were the best! The boathouse was clean, comfortable, relaxing, romantic etc etc. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this wonderful getaway! »

« What a find, The Old Shack is only an hour from Sydney. It’s secluded, so private & buried in nature. Just superb. Mark & Judith are amazing hosts, the shack is fully equipped, the hot tub fueled by wood fire is wonderful & the river offers time for paddling. Amazing, you have to try The Old Shack out for yourself! »

« Nice cottage to stay at and unwind. We caught a nice size flathead off the jetty and the picnic area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Wish we had brought a picnic blanket. »

« Very roomy one bedroom granny suite. Clean with plenty of towels. Nice furnishings and bed.Internet failed one day but was fixed upon notification. There is a very steep driveway and steps in front of the house that you have to get your luggage up to. Also steps from the backyard up to the granny suite. Frying pans in the kitchen need to be replaced as teflon was coming off. This was some thing we noticed at alot of VRBOs.Pool was nice to cool off in and enjoyed it but was not cleaned.Had to...

« We stayed at this property for the annual Toowoon Bay ocean swim and it was a great spot due to the location being walking distance to the beach. Self contained so it was easy to make meals with even some provision of basic long life goods (tinned foods/spices) which we didn’t use but great to be on offer. The house is small but just what is required, 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, bathroom with laundry facilities, dining and lounge with an outdoor seating area. It was very clean and modern, felt...

« The listing does not do it justice. For the price, it was a great place that exceed our expectations. The hosts were friendly (providing snacks for arrival). It was quiet, central (we had a car) and well equipped. Bathroom is a bit tired, but fully functional. We had a very relaxing 8 days which didn't break the bank. The children loved the pool and were made to feel very welcome. »

« This property is in a perfect position and is well presented. I had a lovely short break in this quiet neighbourhood close to everything Terrigal has to offer. The house was very comfortable and the yard was private and well maintained. Loved the little extras that were included and the bath products were amazing. Hot tub was very easy to use and made the stay that little bit extra. This will be my go to for getaway's in the future. Loved it! »

« An open-plan, sun-lit house, with ample space for large groups. Our teens and 18+ kids enjoyed to fooz ball and snooker table. We brought our own food and geoceries cause there aren't any stores nearby. Having free access to Netflix and other apps on the TV was great, and loved the Anchor restaurant right at the door of the property.
