Sie sind unentwegt darauf bedacht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück war überaus üppig und wurde nach eigenen Wünschen zusammengestellt. Täglich wurden die Zimmer gerichtet und was an Tee, Kaffee oder Gebäck fehlte wieder aufgefüllt. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!“

„Lovely small hotel / bed and breakfast place. Very clean room, lobby and breakfast room. Has a comfortable looking lounge with books but did not use it. Nice touches like high end toiletries, juice / milk available outside the room, plenty of different coffee and speciality teas. Breakfast was great with good products. We had full English one morning and smoked salmon the next. Plenty of other things like cereal, yoghurt etc. We would stay again.“

„Zimmer und Bett okay + sauber. Teppich im Bad ...??? Außenfassade des Hotels abschreckend! Leistung für den Preis völlig überteuert. Wir haben für 2 1/2 Personen über hundert Pfund inkl. Frühstück bezahlt. Die Hälfte wäre angemessen gewesen. Kein Parkplatz verfügbar! Frühstück war okay. Kurzum: Nie wieder zu dem Preis.“

„The property is beautiful--very historic and full of character. It had just the right amount of modern touches to be comfortable without sacrificing historic charm. I loved eating in the old dining room--very good breakfasts--and being able to walk in the lovely garden. There are also 2 very good restaurants nearby for dinner.“

„I appreciated the welcome call I received from the staff, guiding me to find the hotel, which was nice and easy. I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. I was shown to my room, which was fine for one night. I slept really well, the room was nice and warm and the bed was fine. There was a nice hot shower and decent bathroom.
