The features of the house, taken alone, are very satisfactory. The upper level of the house -while not separated acoustically from the living space at ground floor- is wider than it looks in the photos, and easily houses a double and a single bed. The house is in the most shop-dense part of town, so everything you need is at hand. The cleanliness of the house, though, was below par.
The garage for the car (a necessity since the place is car-crowded and it's impossible to find a spot) has been a big letdown. Not only it is quite narrow (difficult to get out of the car), but the path to reach it is very steep (>30%) and complex (multiple tight turns). Getting your car in or out of the garage without scratching it requires a lot of manoeuvers. Don't even think of using the garage if you are a novice driver, have a largish car and/or are faint of heart.
The worst part of our experience has been interaction with the professional managing the house. Getting feedback from Mr Marco Bianchi always required multiple unanswered phone calls before finally getting him on the line. Messages on Vrbo never got an answer. Email communication -while promised- was never established. Vital information (when, where and how to check in!) was only provided the very same morning, making it impossible to plan our trip. We never had the impression of interacting with someone who cared about guests.
