An diesem besonderen Ort können Sie die dramatische Schönheit der Sonoma Coast in der Wärme und dem Charme genießen. Von unserer Terrasse und unserem Spa aus können Sie sich entspannen und inmitten der Natur fühlen. Sie genießen einen weiten Blick auf das Meer und die Küste bis nach Bodega Head. Im Osten gibt es schöne Weiden mit grasenden Kühen und Rancher-Runden. Wenn Sie es vorziehen, drinnen zu sein, haben Sie von unserem Great Room aus den gleichen weiten Blick. Draußen im Hinterhof haben wir einen Boccia-Platz und eine Hufeisengrube für freundliche Wettkämpfe!

Unser großzügiger Grundriss (160 m²) (3 geräumige Schlafzimmer sowie ein Schlafraum und 2 ½ Badezimmer) ist perfekt für bis zu drei Paare, zwei kleine Familien oder eine größere Familie geeignet. Es ist auch ideal für "Girls (oder Jungs) Get-Aways." Die maximale Kapazität beträgt 6 Erwachsene und ein paar Kinder. Unser großes Zimmer mit Küche, Ess- / Wohnbereich mit einem mühelosen Gaskamin ist durch französische Türen mit unserem Familienzimmer verbunden, mit einem 40-Zoll-Smart-TV und Blu-Ray. Also, wenn die "Jugendlichen" und die "Junggebliebenen" in Ihrer Gruppe für einen eigenen Raum bereit sind, schließen Sie einfach die französischen Türen! Alle sind mit komfortablen, gemütlichen Möbeln eingerichtet, die im Stil eines Fischerhauses gestaltet sind.

Das Costa Casa befindet sich 10 km nördlich von Bodega Bay und 8 km südlich von Jenner in der historischen Cliff Ave. Gegend. Wenn Sie den Sand am Wright's Beach oder in Duncan’s Cove spüren möchten, müssen Sie nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß die staatlich gepflegten Pfade hinuntergehen.

Nutzen Sie Costa Casa als zweites Zuhause, um auf die vielfältigen Aktivitäten in der Umgebung zuzugreifen. Nur wenige Minuten entfernt befinden sich einige der besten Wander- und Radwege von Sonoma County. Die feinen russischen River Valley Weingüter sind nur etwa eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Jung und Alt können am Strand kämmen, Gezeiten sammeln und Wale beobachten. Oder entspannen Sie sich einfach, bleiben Sie ruhig und lassen Sie die Natur in unserem komfortablen Familienhaus auf sich wirken.

Unique and Vintage Home
The house is very unique and had a lot of vintage items throughout the home. Beautiful view from the deck area. Property is located right next to Duncan's Cove where there is a dog friendly beach. Also the sunsets are just incredible if you drive all the way down to the end of Duncan's Cove. Some things to consider when renting the property: 1. Location is right on Hwy 1 - didn't notice a lot traffic noise but made me a little nervous having our dog so close to the main road. 2. Backyard is fully fenced but patio/deck area is not. 3. Kitchen sick had only a trickle of water. Made it very difficult to wash dishes, fill coffee pot, etc. I messaged the owner but no response. Coffee pot is heavily stained and could use an upgrade but it works! 4. The fireplace didn't work. Think it's out of propane. 5. Mattress in master bedroom was not the most comfortable. I appreciate having a King Size bed though. 6. Couldn't find any extra bath towels and the ones provided had bleach stains. 7. You can hear the ocean waves crashing when standing in the backyard! 8.No ocean view from backyard or bedrooms Only ocean view is the one you see in the picture. Kitchen and patio only. The overall stay was good! We all enjoyed sitting on the patio drinking coffee and eating great food. Plenty of room in the house for us to spread out! We really enjoyed the hot tub as well. I would stay again but for the price I think the property should've been in fully working condition.

Ladies Get A Way
We had a great time being together...property was large enough for six ladies. Hot tub was great and location was convenient. Property is somewhat "rustic" but provided what we needed. Has great potential but needs some updates and TLC.

Bodega Bay House Stay
Although we did enjoy our stay, the pics in the description of this house need to be updated as they look nothing like we found when we stayed there. The front is very overgrown as well as the back yard, the horsehoe pit is covered in weeds and the firepit has brush growing in front of it and is not usable. We found dog hair in one of the beds and melted candy in a dresser drawer. Ants were in every room of the house. Some of the pans in the kitchen had burned food on them, and the water pressure in the kitchen sink is terrible. Both decks had nails sticking up in them and we had to watch our step. One of the beds had a broken leg. We were asked to wash all towels used before we left but could not as there was no laundry soap provided. We also could not close some of the shutters to keep out the sun in some of the rooms. The trash cans provided outside are small and don't have room for a long stay. And lastly, the description asks you to respect the neighbors living next door and to keep the noise down. It was nice and quiet until a family with some kids came into the neighborhood and started making a lot of noise, shrieking and the like. We could no longer enjoy sitting outside on the deck with the racket going on. I guess it did not matter that the very neighborhood we were told to respect made all that noise while we went out of our way to be quiet. But again, we did like our stay but doubt we would ever stay there again. The owners need to do a lot of work.

Yard and outdoor surroundings were very run down. Inside of house was not clean upon arrival.........beds not changed, etc. Overall, it felt like the property had been ignored for quite awhile. It made our vacation there depressing.

Upgrade needed
We liked the place and location but the house was in need of some upgrades for the price it was rented: For example, the hot tub was milky (no chemicals provided to remedy) and the towels and bedding were very old. Additionally, ants, mice, unpainted holes in the wall etc. Literally right off of Hwy 1, so car noise. Very close to a beautiful sunset point you could walk to. Not saying we "didn't like it and you shouldn't rent it" but it was very dated and there are plenty of more modern options around with similar pricing. I'd recommend to bring your own towels at the least.

What an amazing home! My friends and I gathered here to escape from, well, everything, and it was great. The house felt homey, and the views and walks were gorgeous. The Hot Tub was fun while we toasted to the amazing view of the California coast. We will return.

Great location, extra guest at night
The overall property was great. The location was amazing. It was a quick short walk to the beach, which had a private little cut out and was just perfect. The hot tub was a great amenity with the best view, and we all enjoyed it. The house had everything we needed, and it made for a great couple of days, however when I say extra guest, if you are into spirits or not, whether you believe them or not, there is definitely an extra guest at night. Who was seen, around 3 am both nights by a few of us. Not mean just, there . It was a little creepy and made me uneasy, but I don’t think I could’ve stayed there past the two nights. I’m not sure of the history of the house but being built in the 1930s, I’m sure there’s a lot. Besides “Pappy” (what we named him based off of some of the frames around) there was some mold in the bunk room that made my son immediately congested. He slept there both nights and came home with a little cold from it. Being by the ocean mold is expected but there was A LOT so that was a little disappointing. But other than that it was a nice spring break getaway from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives.

Lovely Getaway
We absolutely LOVED this comfortable and relaxed beach cabin It's steps away from the path to Wright Beach and spending mornings in the hot tub as the sun rose was divine. The property has a thriving bird population in the many beautiful bushes and lupins and other plants surrounding the house (smells like heaven on earth) and we really enjoyed watching them while we soaked. The place is comfortabe with a lot of living space inside. We will ablsolutely be back.

I really wanted to like this
For the price and great location I really wanted to like this property. Unfortunately we had major problems. There was a live coach roach between the bedsheets. Hundreds of ants in the kitchen and queen bedroom. The fire pit in backyard has a bush growing over half the pit. The hot tub jets did not work and the water level was 7 inches low below jets. Making it unusable. The host asked me to take out a hose from somewhere, connect and fill the hot tub and to turn the water off and put the hose away. The host had no helpful advice or consolation.

One big problem...
Old house, charming decor, lots of character. We arrived at 8pm and upon entry the whole house reeked distinctly of cat urine. We opened all of the windows to air it out but it made no difference. The smell is very strong in the front TV room, specifically on the rug. My wife dropped her new blanket on the rug briefly and when she picked it up, it smelled so bad that I had to wash it. The kids started referring to it as "the piss room" it was so bad. We left the property for the day and the smell had stuck to our clothes and made its way into our car. Aside from that, everything else was fine. But to get out of town to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday only to be stuck inside a cat-urine-smelling house during a never-ending torrential downpour wasn't the stay we were expecting.

Comfortable, budget friendly place with many issues
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the house but wouldn't book it again. First off, the photos of the view are misleading as there are thick power or telephone lines running between the property and the highway, so there is no ocean view without seeing them. The photos in the listing look as if there is nothing but sky above the deck and hot tub. Also, the whole place looks very worn and tired and needs to be updated everywhere, including a thorough paint job on the walls (master bathroom is remodeled). Cushions are left on the chairs outside, making them unappealing to sit on. Seat cushions on the dining chairs are stained and generally dirty. The mattresses are on the soft side and some pillows are uncomfortable. The gas fireplace is nice to have, but you can't see much of the flame because of the soot on the glass. The hot tub is fine at night, but during the day you can see that the water is quite turbid (well water?) and just doesn't look inviting. What grossed me out most was that the host requests that guests wash a load of towels in the smallest amount of cold water on express before check out. This is unsanitary (assuming that all towels and sheets are washed that way before being used by the next guests). The washing machine is barely functional and did not successfully complete even the express cycle for me, if any guests need a washer to wash their own laundry. We enjoyed the space (bedrooms are pretty private) and the location between Bodega Bay and Jenner.

We hac a wonderful time. House isvery comfortable. If you open the bedroom windows you can hear the waves. The house is well insulated. We used the fireplace in the evening and never had to use this heater. WE WILL BE BACK
