Die private Villa bietet eine einzigartige Umgebung, die bei anderen Vermietern im Arenalsee nicht zu finden ist. Unser Anwesen befindet sich auf einem 20 Hektar großen privaten Anwesen, in dem keine anderen Häuser in Sicht sind. Von der Zufahrtsstraße zum See gehen Sie 15 Minuten zu Fuß den Hügel hinunter. Die Villa ist Teil eines Regenwald-Schutzgebiets, das über einen Quellbach zum See führt, Wanderwege im Dschungelkabinendach und eine Wasserkaskade, die durch die tropischen Gärten verläuft.
Das Haus ist ein 2-stöckiges Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern, in dem bis zu 7 Gäste Platz finden. Vom Balkon, der Terrasse und jedem Zimmer haben Sie einen Blick auf den See. Die Master Suite im zweiten Stock verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang und einen Balkon. Special Spot in Nuevo Arenal
This home is special even though it poured most of our week there. We were told by several locals and neighbors that the torrential rain was unusual for January ( we thought we were going during the dry season). Luckily the house has several areas protected from the rain and we saw many dozens of incredible birds we had never seen in the U.S. Also had Coati wandering through the backyard.We highly recommend this home.One thing to know is that the roads closest to the house are very curvy and were fine when it wasn’t raining and foggy but were reluctant to go out when the rain was coming down. The Hotel Rana was super close , driving wise and the food and staff were great.They enjoyed sharing food with the birds and bringing them close so we could see them up close.

Beautiful grounds and great experience
The property is definitely on the rustic side but all the core amenities are there. The grounds are spectacular! Hiking trails in the back are amazing. There are stunning streams, large trees, and more. The area around the property is rugged and we encountered road closures due to mudslides. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience if you’re looking for a true rainforest and mountain getaway.

Tropical Paradise
Property is gorgeous. It is a quiet haven that makes a great home base for exploring the area. Watching the hummingbirds and other tropical birds is a great way to spend your time. The place has everything you need to relax and enjoy Costa Rica.

Paradise!
This was our first time to Costa Rica and we could not have been more blown away by this place! The house was spectacular and the surrounding rainforest where we could explore made the experience even more wonderful! We really enjoyed the dipping pool after spending the day exploring. The town of Nuevo Arenal was great! Very friendly people, great Sodas to eat at, and plentiful grocery stores. One note regarding the house, the upstairs and downstairs are not connected from the inside, only from the outside. With little kids, dad slept upstairs with a kid and mom was downstairs with the others. But this set up is great for families with older kids or two families vacationing together.

Beautiful Tropical Getaway
Just like everyone has stated, this property is beautiful. The property is very well maintained. It is like one big garden with lots of flowers and walking paths. The paths that go through the forest and also down to the lake are very enjoyable to walk along. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. The house stayed cool with the windows open. We had 7 of us there and had plenty of room. We didn't have any issues at all and really enjoyed the place. I would not hesitate to go back there again.

Pineapple Paradise
This trip was our first visit to Costa Rica. We started with a 2-day raft trip on the Pacuare River, then found ourselves in this Private Villa tropical paradise, listening to howler monkeys and watching toucans and a variety of other birds from the second story balcony💕 We nicknamed this house the Pineapple Paradise because of the pineapples growing in the garden below. After Costa Rican drip coffee, we were able to adventure through the soft forest floor discovering many colorful insects and flora on the trail to the lake. Then it felt refreshing to cool off in the splash pool with the combination of afternoon rain. The location of the house was a perfect distance from the recreation around La Fortuna, but away from the hustle bustle of the town. One day we met with a neighbor who was redirecting a stray cow from our driveway. She and her husband and happy little dog were so friendly and gave us a tour of her nursery, pura vida! The house is well stocked, including binoculars! It was easy to cook meals, then play family games inside and out! Our family appreciated the 2 floors, leaving the bottom floor to our 3 teen kids, and my husband and I could retreat to our own space upstairs. It was a magical experience that we will remember forever. Thank you.

The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend.

ABSOLUTE PARADISE
Oh my!!! What an experience! The property was absolutely fantastic! It gave us all of the peace and seclusion that we needed! My husband and I celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary and my birthday for 5 days and I can truly say this was by far the BEST villa I have ever visited. The tropical paradise that we experienced was unreal. First of all, the property is HUGE and the landscape is GORGEOUS! I called it the Garden of Eden. The view of the lake and rainforest was amazing from the upstairs section of the villa. The flowers and various plants were stunningly beautiful and the variation of different trees, including palm trees were very pleasing to the eye. There are lime trees and pineapple bushes on the property, which was an amazing treat and we used one that had fallen to take shots and add to our salads one day. The villa is well-stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and everything else. The washer and dryer was a big plus because it rained a bit while we were there, but I did not mind. It comes and goes. The plunge pools were so nice and the trails were great! More like something out of The Jungle Book. Might I add, the variety of BIRDS was such a pleasant addition. Many different humming birds and other beautiful tropical birds visited every day in abundance. They sang to us every morning. It was amazing to see! I took a walk everyday on the property and discovered something new and serene each day! It was HEAVEN! Book and you will not regret it!

Our family truly enjoyed the beautiful grounds and location of Lake View Villa. We woke to howler monkeys every morning and our sons saw 3. We saw multiple birds including hummingbirds, toucans, aracaris, parrots, parakeets, bananaquits and many more. Grounds are well maintained, very peaceful and relaxing. The location is close to good restaurants and 2 small sized grocery stores (10-15 minutes) and within about an hour of other activities.

Beautiful gardens. Spent hours on balcony watching wildlife enjoying coffee in the morning and margaritas in afternoon. Everything you need is there at a reasonable price. Close to good restaurants (10 minutes) multitude of activities within 1 hours drive. Do not hesitate to rent this beautiful quiet home.

Nature Lovers' Paradise
The Villa was a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing week in nature. The birds were breathtaking. We heard howler monkeys every day and saw them several times. A very persistent coati was often attempting to pilfer the fruit from the birds. The grounds and paths are beautiful, but because of the rain we didn't have much opportunity to explore. However, the weather was warm, and the patio was dry, and the birds did not seem to mind the rain. They were always ready to put on a great show!

Beautiful Views, Tropical Forest Feel
We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. The property grounds were beautifully vivid, and the layout allowed for superb viewing of the many bird species around. Inside, there was an upstairs and downstairs kitchen that came in very handy when we felt like cooking. The decor and vibe had a very relaxed, tropical feel, and the upstairs balcony was a neat way to see different views from the downstairs views. We also loved walking around on the short forest paths, where there were strawberry poison dart frogs and amazing plant life. The bird species were incredible, with toucans coming right up to the house. Finally, we appreciated that we felt safe and comfortable for our entire stay!

Beautiful place
The house was beautiful although we were rarely there. We only got to explore the first day around thw property because of the rain but we knew it was the rainy season. It wasnt too far from most everything you definitely need to rent a car. We had issues with the wifi but the property manager was diligent and was able to get it resolved. The cell service isnt very good so we were very greatful that she was able to fix it. There is no ac so keep that in mind but many places in Costa Rica dont have ac. There were plenty of fans provided to make sleeping comfortable.Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The house is an oasis in the rainforest! It has all of the amenities that you need, and you can't beat the property views, birds and rainforest trail! Allow time to just sit and enjoy the land. It is located about an hour's drive from La Fortuna and 45 min from the base of Arenal. The listing notes the master suite has a separate entrance, but it didn't register with me that there would be no interior access between floors. Not a problem for our group, just an FYI for those traveling with younger kids. We are already thinking about staying there again.

Finding it was a bit tricky. House was clean but it had its moments with ants and such. It is the rain forest. Everything we needed was there and it was well stocked with toiletries, games, movies, etc. They have a new rescued dog down the street that came by a few times and he is a bit out of control. They gave us a water bottle to shoo him away when we need him to leave. Good restaurants nearby, great views!! Fun 10 point wellness walk around the property. The grounds are well groomed. No monkeys but tons of birds! We had a lot of flea bits or ant bites. We used several different mosquito ki repellents but it didn’t do as much as we needed. Overall it was a nice stay for us.

Location, location, location
Once you navigate the steep driveway, the grounds are stunning. Besides the beautiful flowers and plants, we saw so many birds - love that there is a platform feeder right off the patio. We also saw howler monkeys. The house is clean and comfortable and has every kitchen item you could need. Beds are comfy. The reason for the 4 star rating is the wifi. The signal was weak at best and we had a couple of outages in the time we were there. Not great for remote work. Overall, though, this is a lovely place to stay for a relaxing getaway and take in the beauty that is Costa Rica!

Pure Paradise - Pura Vida
To start with.... WOW.. This property is amazing, from our lovely hosts that got us settled in and gave us some tips about what to visit in the area, to the stunning property with little water features, and fun natural spring splash pool the kids loved to play in, the secluded nature features and short trails into the jungle right from the property. This villa has it all. Kitchen was stocked well with all essentials, beds were clean and comfortable and we felt more than safe during our stay. Thanks again!

Quiet and comfotable retreat in nature
First of all the property managers Sandy and Mike are exceptional. They are quick to respond and resolved some scheduling issue with App/Owner rapidly and got us ready for check in with short notice and provided helpful tips and key information about the area. Bananas Mike dropped off were sweet and unaltered flavor unlike store bought. House itself stocked with basics and was very spacious for 2 kids and 2 adults and plenty of spots to take in the views and sounds. We saw and heard Toucans every day and many exotic birds. House itself was central for our plan to go to Tenorio/Arenal and sorrounding activities. It is 10mins from Nuevo Arenal town and you can get pretty much everything you need in town. But if your activities are in LaFortuna/Arenal Volcano it is about an hour drive, which goes by fast with some other points of interest and views on the way. Property has its own rain forest trail which we explored one day and provides interesting sights of creeks/waterfalls and rainforest canopy to explore. Washer/Dryer was great amenity, something we didn't know we needed so badly after daily activities. It was a relaxing 5 days for us and everyone wants more of the same.
